The third and final idol credited for the revival of Y2K fashion in South Korea is BLACKPINK's very own Jennie! The idol appears to have fallen in love with the Y2K trend, sharing photos of her with a chain around her waist as she wears a crop top and loose paints.

What is Y2K?
Y2K is an abbreviation of the year 2000. The mid-90s and early 2000s greatly inspire the fashion aesthetic. Staples of the Y2K aesthetic include velour tracksuits, baguette bags, colorful jewelry and hair accessories, denim, flared jeans, and thongs.
Y2K, for most, brings a sense of nostalgia to Millenials who grew up in this era. Gen Z-ers nowadays are pairing old styles with new trends, such as working with technology to style their looks.
