On August 12, Hankook Ilbo selected 5 times that K-pop idols act "rebellious" during their pre-debut days – which has now turned into enjoyable memories.
Indeed, while dating and eating snacks or even watching movies is just like part of a daily routine for some, these activities or experiences are already a tough decision to make for idols — who are in the limelight.
How do K-pop Idols Date Each Other? Media Outlet Reveals How T-ara Are Dating Secretly
There are mixed opinions about idols dating each other, but during moments that they can't help but fall in love, T-ara gave a sneak peek of how they are meeting their boyfriends despite living with their managers.
During the group's reunion on JTBC's "Knowing Bros," the female idols shared that they lived together for about eight years before hiatus.
Thus, they rely upon each other a lot, especially when members are seeing someone.
Eunjung said, "On the bed of the member who went out on a date, we will form a human shape with bags and clothes and covered it with a blanket. After hanging out the hairpiece, lowering the light is perfect to portray that she's sleeping. Acting skills were also important."

Red Velvet Seulgi, SNSD Hyo and EXO D.O.: SM Entertainment Idols Who are 'Rebellious' During their Trainee Days
Aside from dating, K-pop idols during their trainee days have a lot of do's and don'ts, especially when it comes to their diet. On the same day, Hankook Ilbo also listed how these SM Entertainment artists deviated from the company's strict rules and regulations.
Starting with Seulgi, the Red Velvet member narrated how she trained for seven years before her debut in her appearance on MBC's "Radio Star."
When asked if she ever did something rebellious, Seulgi answered, "This is a common type of " deviating" among trainees, but we would say we'll go to Han river to exercise, but we will actually eat ramen. It's a rule not to eat this food, but we will ride our bike and still go."
However, it seems the juniors learned from their seniors, such as Girls' Generation Hyoyeon and EXO Xiumin, who went out to drink bubble tea.
During her recent guesting on Channel S's "Drink with Gods 2," Hyoyeon as a mischievous trainee, would even lure other trainees to come out with her.
When Hyoyeon said, "Do you want to go drink bubble tea? Follow me." Xiumin then confessed, "I also went out to eat bubble tea. I wasn't the type to lead, I was the type to follow."
Talking about snacks, BLACKPINK Rosé also recalled her "rebellious" act when she was still a trainee before debuting as BLACKPINK under YG Entertainment.
The main vocalist conveyed that trainees are not allowed to eat junk foods, but deviating from the rules,Rosé narrated,
"I put snacks in my pillowcase and put them on the bunk bed. The one managing the dorm who took care of us then touched it while we are playing, and it made a rustling sound. That's how I got caught and it was taken away."

Lastly, the Korean media outlet also cited ASTRO's Cha Eunwoo rebellious act when he went out late at night to watch a movie — without his parents' knowledge.
Cha Eunwoo, a member of the group ASTRO, became the talk of the town with his career as the third-ranked student and former school president.
When Jeon Hyunmoo of tvN's "Problematic Men" asked him, "What is the behavior that you think you did wrong the most when you were a student?"
Cha Eunwoo replied, "I went to see a late-night movie. I watched 'Transformers' without telling my parents."
