Idol Champ, the official voting application for MBC M's music program "Show Champion," recently partnered with Forbes Korea to select the idol that best suits the publication. The title ultimately went to Kang Daniel.

From July 29 to August 12, Idol Champ held a poll titled "[Forbes] All-rounder idol in three areas: songwriting, composing, and producing?" Fans could select their favorite idol to represent Forbes Korea. The number one winner of the poll will receive their own page in the magazine's upcoming edition as well as two pages of news promotion.
Kang Daniel Selected as the Idol That Best Suits Forbes Korea
Ranking at the top of the poll is none other than Kang Daniel. The soloist and CEO scored 45.51% of the total votes cast.
Kang Daniel has proven himself as not only a fantastic idol but a capable businessman. In June 2019, the "Antidote" singer established Konnect Entertainment and KD Corporation Ltd. The former manages his entertainment activities, while the latter is in charge of all business-related activities.

It was recently announced that Konnect Entertainment is expanding their artist line-up, signing a domestic management contract with solo artist CL as a partnership agreement with her own agency Very Cherry in July 2021. Additionally, in August, it was announced that singer-songwriter and produce Chancellor signed an exclusive contract with Konnect Entertainment.
It is also rumored that former GFRIEND member Yuju will be signing an exclusive contract with Konnect Entertainment, though it is still unconfirmed if it will push through.

Kang Daniel's last musical release was the promotional single "Outerspace (feat. Loco)" Universe Music to promote their mobile application, Universe. Prior to that, Kang Daniel released the final installment of his three-part project, which aimed to find his true colors as a soloist.
Titled "Yellow," Kang Daniel released the mini-album on April 13, 2021, with the lead single "Antidote." When discussing the album, Kang Daniel notes that the color series is about sharing the different stages of his self-discovery as an artist with his fans. The male has helped co-write the majority of the songs in the mini-albums "Color on Me," "Cyan," "Magenta," and "Yellow."
