TXT Soars High on the Latest Billboard and Oricon Charts with 'The Chaos Chapter: FIGHT OR ESCAPE' and New Songs

TXT's repackaged album "The Chaos Chapter: FIGHT OR ESCAPE" and its songs are dominating the top spots on both Oricon and Billboard charts this week!

"The Chaos Chapter: FIGHT OR ESCAPE" was dropped on Aug. 17 in South Korea and Aug. 18 in Japan and has since been entering charts not only in South Korea but also in overseas countries.

TXT's comeback album consists of 11 songs in total, including all of the eight tracks from the group's previous album "The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE" and the new title song "LO$ER=LOVER."

TXT "The Chaos Chapter: FIGHT OR ESCAPE" Grabs No. 2 on Oricon Weekly Album Chart

On Aug. 25, Oricon Chart released its weekly rankings, dated Aug. 30. TXT's repackaged album is the only Korean release to make it to the Top 10 this week.

Based on the latest Oricon Weekly Album Chart, "The Chaos Chapter: FIGHT OR ESCAPE" ranked second with 65,422 copies for its first-week sales.

As soon as TXT's "The Chaos Chapter: FIGHT OR ESCAPE" was dropped on Aug. 18, it went straight to the top on the daily album rankings of the Oricon Chart and maintained its position at No. 1 for two days straight.

In addition to this, TXT's "LO$ER=LOVER," the title track from the repackaged album, topped the daily chart of Line Music. It has been atop the rankings for eight days in a row now.

Apart from the Oricon Chart, TXT is also soaring high on the famous Billboard charts this week, ending on Aug. 28.

On Aug. 24 local time, Billboard unveiled the latest rankings of its charts. TXT's new songs managed to make it to the Top 15 of the World Digital Song Sales chart.

In particular, TXT's "LO$ER=LOVER" debuted at No. 6, "0X1=LOVESONG (I Know I Love You) featuring Seori re-entered at No. 12, and the B-side song "MOA Diary (Dubaddu Wari Wari)" landed at No. 13.

"0X1=LOVESONG," the title track from "The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE," has already spent eight non-consecutive weeks on Billboard's World Digital Song Sales chart, becoming the group's longest-running song on the tally.

Other than this, TXT's "0X1=LOVESONG (I Know I Love You)" is now the longest-ranking 2021 song by a Korean artist on the World Digital Song Sales chart.

TXT's "The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE" is also showing undying popularity as it entered four Billboard charts this week, ending on Aug. 28.

"The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE" remained at No. 6 on the World Album chart, extending its record as the longest-running 2021 album by a Korean act on the list (12 weeks).

TXT's second full-length album also entered at No. 24 on this week's Billboard Top Album Sales chart, marking its 11th week. It also claimed the No. 15 spot on the Tastemaker Album chart and No. 19 on the Top Current Album Sales chart.

Meanwhile, TXT has recently earned their first music show trophy for "LO$ER=LOVER." The band ranked first on the Aug. 24 episode of "The Show" with 7,980 total points, surpassing The Boyz's "Thrill Ride" and CIX's "Wave."
