Dara Shows Support To CL Ahead Of Former 2NE1 Leader's 'ALPHA' Album Release

The 2NE1 members are still showing their affection towards one another whenever they had the chance to appear on various shows together.

After the girl group disbanded in 2016, each member is actively pursuing their music career in the entertainment industry. Just recently, CL dropped her pre-release music video for "SPICY." It marked her comeback into the music scene. After the release of "SPICY," she is still preparing to drop another single before the release of her full album "ALPHA" in October.

CL made a grand return to K-Pop as she put on a charismatic and dominating performance on Mnet's "M Countdown" last August 26. So, to show her support for their former leader, Dara took to social media to share a message that cheers on CL. She wrote, "Leader, you're awesome... you're so good! Good!"

Because of her post, 2NE1 fans were joyous after seeing another interaction of the 2NE1 members and seeing Dara's support for CL. They also joined the social media platform to express their support for CL.

CL made a comeback with "SPICY," the first pre-release song of her first solo full-length album "ALPHA." For her new song "SPICY," the world-famous producer Baauer and Sokodomo participated and also added a unique color. CL, who always showcased intense performances and high-quality music, pleased everyone's eyes and ears once again.

CL's new song "SPICY" lands at the top of the global music charts and is still receiving good reviews.

CL comes back with 'SPICY'

CL's "SPICY" was released on the afternoon of August 24. It ranked first in two regions including Cambodia and Singapore on the iTunes Top Song Chart, Saudi Arabia, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, Argentina, Moldova, Brazil, Luxembourg, Turkey, Portugal, Philippines and many others. It also entered the TOP 10 in 13 regions and confirmed its global influence.

Right after "SPICY"s release, actor John Malkovich, who narrated the song, sent a message to show support to CL and it has drawn the attention of the fans.

In a video published through CL's SNS, John Malkovich revealed that he was also a fan of CL and stated that "SPICY" is very fantastic and very proud. He emphasized that he is very proud of CL. He also sent generous support to CL.

"SPICY" is a song that declares CL's new classic with "Bad Girlfriend" and "Hello B*tches," it also symbolically shows the attitude and values of the character CL in the past 13 years.
