BTS Jungkook Becomes the Longest-Charting Korean Solo Artist on Billboard's World Digital Song Sales

According to the latest World Digital Song Sales chart as announced by Billboard for the week of August 28, BTS Jungkook's solo song, "Euphoria," lands within the Top 10 spots on the chart, taking number eight for the week.

Besides "Euphoria," two other solo songs of the BTS hitmaker also ranks high in the World Digital Song Sales chart, with "My Time" snagging the ninth spot, while "Begin" sits at number 16.

In particular, all three of Jungkook's solo songs have been charting on the World Digital Song Sales chart for two weeks in a row since last week, showing Jungkook's power as a chart-topping idol.

In the previous week, "Euphoria" was at number seven, "My Time" at number eight, and "Begin" even topped the chart at number one.

As of this moment, "Euphoria" has been on the World Digital Song Sales chart for a total of 77 weeks, while "My Time" has been charting for 73 weeks. "Begin" is fairly new to the charts, only having charted for a total of three weeks so far. Most notably, all of Jungkook's solo songs have peaked at number one on the chart.

With "Euphoria" having an amazing 77 weeks of charting on the World Digital Song Sales chart, this also marks a record for Jungkook as the longest-charting Korean solo artist, as well as having the longest-charting solo song by a Korean artist.

Meanwhile, on the largest global music streaming platform, Spotify, Jungkook's "Euphoria" has surpassed 268 million streams on the platform, making another record as the most-streamed solo song by a K-Pop idol.

Missy Elliot Interested in Collaborating with BTS

A Missy Elliot and BTS collaboration? Yes, please!

Back on August 24 local time, American rapper Missy Elliot took to Twitter to respond to a fan who tagged the rapper and expressed their need to see a BTS and Missy Elliot collaboration before they "leave this world."

The fan, who goes by the Twitter username "@agustdsupremacy," wrote, "Please Missy just collaborate with BTS I can't leave this world without something of you guys......."

Missy Elliott then excited both BTS and the rapper's fans by responding to the tweet, saying that she is "down for sure."

"Of course that would be their call I'm down 4 sho," said Missy Elliott, who accompanied her reply with purple heart emojis - a color that represents BTS.

Fans who saw Missy Elliott's tweet responded to her with a lot of excitement, and the rapper herself continued to show her love to both BTS and the fans by replying to several of them with purple heart emojis.
