GOT7 Jay B revealed on a radio show how he joined Jay Park's agency, H1GHR MUSIC, and mentioned the possibility of becoming a CEO of his own agency, as well as founding GOT7's company.
On Sept. 1, Jay B guested on MBC FM4U's "Kim Shin Young's Hope Song at Noon," where he talked about various topics with the host Kim Shin Young.
GOT7 Jay B Unveils How He Ended Up Signing with H1GHR MUSIC
GOT7's leader officially joined Jay Park's label H1GHR MUSIC this past May.
During the latest broadcast of "Kim Shin Young's Hope Soon at Noon," Jay B revealed that H1GHR MUSIC's CEO Jay Park was the one who contacted him to recruit him.

GOT7 Jay B said that when he was about to decide which company he would join, Jay Park reached out to him. He added that he personally likes H1GHR MUSIC, so he wanted to meet Park and have a chat with him.
Jay B then stated that "things changed a lot" after talking to Jay Park. He explained that he felt Jay Park's thoughts and plans were the same as his.

After joining H1GHR MUSIC on May 11, GOT7 Jay B immediately released his first solo single three days later, titled "Switch It Up" featuring sokodomo.
On Aug. 26, Jay B's first solo EP "SOMO:FUME" was revealed, alongside the music video for the title song "B.T.W." The album quickly climbed to No. 1 on iTunes Albums charts in 36 regions, including the United States, Thailand, United Kingdom, Spain, and more.
Regarding this accomplishment, GOT7 member Jay B commented that he didn't expect "SOMO:FUME" to get that much love from fans around the world. The "B.T.W." singer also expressed his gratitude to MAMAMOO Wheein who featured in his new song "AM PM."
Jay B Shares the Possibility of Becoming a CEO and Founding GOT7's Agency
Before the MBC FM4U's "Kim Shin Young's Hope Song at Noon" ended, Kim Shin Young commented that GOT7 Jay B might become the CEO of his own agency one day.
In response to this, Jay B said, "That's possible," however, he is still not confident since he still has a lot to study about it. He continued, "Maybe I can establish an agency for GOT7 later on."
This is not the first time Jay B mentioned creating a label for GOT7. During a live broadcast held via Instagram, he shared the group's plans to found their own company.

According to GOT7's leader, if the septett will build their own company, they will name it after their fans, who they generally call IGOT7.
At present, GOT7 members are signed with different labels. Jay B is under H1GHR MUSIC, Jinyoung is under BH Entertainment, Yugyeom is under AOMG, Youngjae is under Sublime Artist Agency, Mark is under Creative Artists Agency LLC, and BamBam is under ABYSS Company.
Jackson, on the other hand, remains under his self-established company, TEAM WANG. But, his label is currently in a partnership with Youngjae's new home, Sublime Artist Agency.
