What Happened to GLAM? Know Big Hit Entertainment's First Girl Group + Members' Current Status

Did you know that prior to HYBE's (formerly Big Hit Entertainment) new girl group debut, the company actually launched a girl group named GLAM? The quintet's start was pretty decent, but due to controversies, the team unfortunately disbanded. Whatever happened to the members?

Big Hit Entertainment is home to K-pop's prominent boy groups, BTS and TXT. Earlier, it officially announced to debut of a new girl group in the fourth quarter of 2021, which is rumored to have former IZ*ONE Sakura as one of the members.

However, before this upcoming girl group, GLAM is actually the first-ever girl group created by Big Hit, together with Source Music.

GLAM, comprised of five members Jiyeon, Zinni, Trinity, Dahee, and Miso, debuted in July 2012. Upon their debut, they established adequate support from fans. However, they disbanded in 2015 due to controversies involving top stars.

Where are GLAM Members Now?

1. Jiyeon (Haee)

Jiyeon, the leader of the group, pursued her solo career after parting ways with the members. After leaving Big Hit, she auditioned on "Show Me the Money 4" but didn't make it into the next round.

In 2017, she signed under KQ Entertainment and debuted as a solo artist with her solo single, "B-Day." She also joined "MIXNINE" but was eliminated during the audition.

Currently, she is a solo artist under DCTOM Entertainment after leaving KQ in 2019. Upon finding her new nest, she released her latest single "Subway" under the stage name, Haee.

2. Zinni (Jiny Kim)

Before making her debut in GLAM, Zinni is known to be a former breakdancer who joined numerous competitions. She was born with innate talent in dancing and rapping, which is also the reason why she became the main rapper and main dancer of the group.

But after the group's disbandment, Zinni, or now known as Jiny Kim, permanently left the music industry.

With her new name, she also ventures a new field which is the world of sports and became a prize-winning longboard skater.

3. Trinity

Trinity left the group in December 2012 due to personal reasons, but she also left negative impressions among fans.

In her career, she was given the nickname "Cussing Granny" because she allegedly cussed a lot and showed "aggressive" behavior. She was also accused of being an obsessive fan (sasaeng) of Super Junior Leeteuk.

When she left the group, Trinity, now known as Soojin, opened her own clothing line, Vivid Yoon. She also works as a freelance model.

4. Dahee

Dahee, the main vocalist, is said to be the cause of the fall of the group. After former member's Trinity's scandal, Dahee caused a huge controversy in 2014 that led to the disbandment of the group announced in 2015.

In particular, veteran actor Lee Byung Hun complained about being blackmailed and extorted by two women, including Dahee. She was then imprisoned for a year.

She now works as an AfreecaTV BJ, model, and YouTuber. On her YouTube channel, she also pursues music by posting dance and song covers.

5. Miso

Miso, the maknae of the group, left the K-pop industry for good. Four years ago, she was still active on her YouTube channel, GooTube, and Instagram. However, she decided to leave as a normal person, setting her new Instagram account on private.
