Kim Chaewon can no longer be found on the Woollim Entertainment website, and people are speculating why. Keep on reading for all the details.
Kim Chaewon Removed From Woollim Entertainment's Official Website
On August 16, numerous people pointed out on social media that Kim Chaewon, a former member of IZ*ONE, was removed from Woolim Entertainment's artists' profile on their website.
Previously, the idol was signed under Woollim Entertainment and even represented the group as a contestant on "Produce 48." She remained signed under the label while promoting with IZ*ONE.
Many commented that her artist page is still accessible if you have the link, but you will be unable to access it if you do not. In addition, all traces of Kim Chaewon have been visually deleted, which people considered odd, as people commented that Woollim had updated her profile not too long ago.
However, it is not just Kim Chaewon's artist profile on the Woollim Entertainment website that has changed. If you were to check her Daum and Naver profile, Woollim Entertainment is no longer listed as the company she is under.
This has led many to speculate that Kim Chaewon has silently left the company.
Speculations Arise Following Kim Chaewon's Artist Profile Being Deleted from Woolllim Entertainment Website
Many believe that Kim Chaewon's artist profile was deleted because she was switching companies.
Back on August 17, Star News reported that Kim Chaewon would be leaving Woollim Entertainment to sign with HYBE Labels and potentially debut in a new girl group under Source Music, the company that previously housed GFRIEND.
According to the report, Kim Chaewon has been in contact with HYBE Labels since June to discuss her contract. The report also stated that another former IZ*ONE member, Miyawaki Sakura, will also be signing on with Source Music to debut in HYBE Label's new girl group.
This rumor was further strengthened when Sakura returned to South Korea following a short promotional period in Japan following IZ*ONE's disbandment.

However, people soon found more signs that Kim Chaewon and Miyawaki Sakura would debut in a new girl group. HYBE Labels and Source Music performance director Yoon So Young followed these two idols on Instagram and did not follow any of the other IZ*ONE members.
As of now, it is being speculated that Kim Chaewon left Woollim Entertainment to debut with Miyawaki Sakura and former "Produce 48" contestant Heo Yunjin, who is currently signed as a trainee under Pledis Entertainment.
