"Squid Game" actor Lee Jung Jae shared in a recent interview that he is a fan of the global girl group BLACKPINK.
On Sept. 25, Netflix Korea uploaded a video of their recent interview with the cast of the popular series "Squid Game," including Lee Jung Jae.
During the talks, the cast was asked to reveal their favorite video uploaded to Netflix, and the first one to share was Lee Jung Jae, who turned out to be a BLACKPINK fan.

Lee Jung Jae shared to Netflix Korea that BLACKPINK's documentary "Light Up the Sky" is his favorite video on Netflix.
The "Squid Game" actor added that he discovered that BLACKPINK Jennie and his fellow cast member Jung Ho Yeon are great friends.

He further stated that Jennie once visited the filming site for "Squid Game" to see Jung Ho Yeon and even sent her a coffee truck.
Lee Jung Jae then revealed what his expression was when he saw BLACKPINK Jennie. He said, "The moment I saw Jennie, I was like, 'Wow! That's Jennie from BLACKPINK!' It was cool."

After that, the "Squid Game" actor disclosed how he began to be a BLACKPINK fan.
Lee Jung Jae said, "When I watched the trailer, I thought 'Wow, so that's how BLACKPINK became the world-famous girl group. All because of their hard work. Then, I became a fan."
Actor Park Hae Soo, who was sitting next to Lee Jung Jae during the interview with Netflix Korea, suddenly said that Lee recommended BLACKPINK's documentary "Light Up the Sky" to him."
And after he watched it, Park Hae Soo revealed that he has also become a BLACKPINK fan.

BLACKPINK Kill This Love MV Reaches New Peak in Terms of YouTube Views
In other news, the music video for BLACKPINK's "Kill This Love" has attained another remarkable achievement on YouTube regarding its views.
On Sept. 25 at approximately 6:01 p.m. KST, BLACKPINK's "Kill This Love" MV has reached 1.4 billion YouTube views, becoming the group's second music video to hit the milestone after "DDU-DU DDU-DU."
The "Kill This Love" MV was initially released on April 5, 2019 at midnight KST. This means the video took two years and five months to achieve the feat.

Now that "DDU-DU DDU-DU" and "Kill This Love" both exceeded 1.4 billion views on YouTube, BLACKPINK has become the first K-pop group in history to have two music videos to obtain this number of views on the platform.
Meanwhile, the BLACKPINK's "Kill This Love" dance practice video has reached 400 million views on YouTube as of Sept. 19 at 12:05 p.m. KST. This becomes the group's third dance video to hit the mark, following "How You Like That" and "DDU-DU DDU-DU."
"Kill This Love" dance practice video also becomes BLACKPINK's 13th video overall to accumulate 400 million YouTube views.
