Despite debuting as a non-singer in the entertainment industry, Hospital Playlist actor Jo Jung Suk has won more hearts of music fans and drama viewers with his incredible vocals that he showcased through the original soundtracks - Aloha and I Like You - he sang for the megahit series.

Jo Jung Suk Aloha for Hospital Playlist Season 1

One of the Hospital Playlist OST that was sung by Jo Jung Suk is titled Aloha, a remake of the 2001 track of the same name that was originally sung by the trio Cool.

Jo Jung Suk Aloha was warmly received by fans and drama viewers.

Shortly after its release on March 27 of last year, it quickly took first place on Korean music charts and has continued ranking high since then.

Twenty days after its release, Hospital Playlist Aloha secured the top spot on Korea's biggest music platform, MelOn.

Uniquely, this Hospital Playlist OST was competing with the songs by boy groups and girl groups, including BTS, GOT7, Apink, and more. Aloha achieved numerous all-kills as it consistently ranked first on all Korean music charts.

On top of that, Jo Jung Suk Aloha peaked at No. 1 on Gaon's digital and streaming charts. This song even earned a platinum certification for streaming after it exceeded 100 million cumulative streams on Gaon.

Aloha" also rose to No. 1 on the Billboard K-pop Hot 100 chart, and has won several "BEST OST" awards in different Korean music awards including 2020 MelOn Music Awards, 2020 Brand of the Year Awards, 2021 Genie Music Awards, 2021 Golden Disc Awards, and 2021 Seoul Music Awards.

Jo Jung Suk I Like You for Hospital Playlist Season 2

After his hit Hospital Playlist OST Aloha, Jo Jung Suk released another soundtrack for the same K-drama, titled I Like You.

Dropped on July 16 this year, Jo Jung Suk I Like You is the fifth OST for the second season of the well-known K-drama. It is a remake of the 1996 song of the same name by Weather Cast.

A few hours after it was released, I Like You debuted at No. 31 on MelOn's real-time chart, grabbed first place on Bugs, and entered at No. 17 on Genie.

Jo Jung Suk Hospital Playlist OST even peaked at No. 8 on the Gaon Digital Chart and stayed inside the Top 10 for several weeks. It also landed at No. 10 on the Billboard K-pop Hot 100 chart.

Apart from acting, Jo Jung Suk is known to be involved in many musicals, hence, singing is not a difficult thing for this 40-year-old actor. He has starred in 25 musicals, which began from his desire to gain money to help his family.

Hospital Playlist is one of the highest-rated Korean dramas in cable television history, after achieving 14.080% with its final episode in the first season.

It has also set tvN's highest premiere ratings in its history, recording 10.007% on June 17 of this year.
