ITZY Sets New Record for First Week Album Sales with 'CRAZY IN LOVE'
Back on September 24, JYP Entertainment's girl group, ITZY, released their first full-length album, "Crazy In Love." In the album's first week of release, "Crazy In Love" surpassed more than 259,705 album copies sold based on Hanteo Chart.
This means that the five-member group broke their own personal first week album sales record, surpassing the album sales of their previous and fourth mini-album, "GUESS WHO," which sold more than 201,130 album copies in its first week of release back in April.
In addition, among all of the girl groups, ITZY's "Crazy In Love" became the fourth highest in first week album sales, proving why they are the representative girl group in the fourth-generation.

ITZY's 'Crazy In Love' Shows Domestic and International Success
"Crazy In Love" also showed off its success after topping and entering several domestic and international music charts around the world.
Back in September, ITZY's album topped Hanteo Chart's Daily Album chart and Gaon Chart's Retail Album chart for three days in a row.
On the day of the release of "Crazy In Love," the album ranked No. 1 on iTunes' album charts in over 15 countries and regions. While in the United Kingdom it ranked at No. 7 on the Top UK Album Debut chart.
Over on the Spotify Chart, "Crazy In Love" took the No. 3 spot on both the global Top 10 Album Debut and the Top 10 Album Debut in the United States.
The title song of their album, "LOCO," also entered the Global Top 200 chart on Spotify back on September 24, debuting on the chart at No. 121 and subsequently rising to No. 81.

In addition, "LOCO" also proved its popularity in China by taking the top spot on the New Korean Song chart on KuGou Music.
The music videos for "LOCO" and their new B-side track, "SWIPE," are also steadily increasing in views on Youtube. In just a week of its release, the music video for "LOCO" easily surpassed 60 million views on Youtube, while "SWIPE" reached six million views on its fourth day of release.
As of this writing, "LOCO" currently has more than 63.2 million views, while "SWIPE" has 6.2 million.
Meanwhile, ITZY is currently promoting their new tracks on several music shows. In particular, ITZY member, Yuna, will be appearing as a special MC on the October 3 broadcast of SBS' "Inkigayo."
