Block B P.O Submits Request to Postpone Military Service

According to reports, P.O has decided to postpone his mandatory military service until the end of the year.

Block B P.O Submits Request to Postpone Military Service

On October 5, KST, media outlet YTN reported that Block B's lead rapper and youngest member, P.O, had submitted a request to the Military Manpower Administration to postpone his enlistment until the end of the year in December.

According to the report, P.O's plans to participate in various broadcast activities until the end of the year will be dependent on whether or not his postponement application is approved.

An entertainment industry official also said in an interview with YTN, "P.O received a notice to enlist as an active duty soldier, but he has prepared and submitted the necessary documents for the postponement of his enlistment."

The industry official also reveals that P.O's application to postpone his enlistment has been approved recently based on their understanding.

Meanwhile, P.O is currently 28 years old in international age. He is the last member of Block B to enlist for his mandatory military service. His fellow Block B members, Jaehyo, Taeil, and B-Bomb have completed their service; while U-Kwon, Zico, and Park Kyung are still in service.

Block B P.O's Current Activities

Meanwhile, P.O is currently active in acting and appearing on numerous variety shows.

This year, P.O became a fixed cast member of TVING's "Spring Camp" and the fourth season of tvN's "The Great Escape" and "Amazing Saturday - Doremi Market."

He also became a daily mentor in MBC's "Wild Idol." Other than that, he is also hosting his very own radio show on Naver NOW called "Brrrr Friends," with his best friend and fellow K-Pop idol, Winner's Song Mino. P.O and Song Mino has been hosting the show since 2020.

In addition to appearing on television shows, P.O is also active with his acting career. He recently appeared in the tvN crime thriller drama "Mouse," as a supporting character. He also starred in the theatre production "Almost, Maine," from 2020 to 2021.

Back on September 11, P.O's label, Seven Seasons, released an official statement regarding P.O's contract expiration. P.O had previously renewed his exclusive contract with the label back in 2018, along with fellow Block B members Jaehyo, B-Bomb, Taeil, U-Kwon, and Park Kyung. While in the same year, Zico launched his own label, KOZ Entertainment.

After being with the label for more than ten years, P.O decided not to renew his exclusive contract and parted ways with Seven Seasons.
