It has been revealed that Frenchy luxury brand Givenchy produced and unveiled custom haute couture stage outfits for their brand ambassadors aespa, which was worn in their Savage teasers and music video.

Did You Know? Givenchy Created Custom Stage Outfits for aespa's Savage
On October 5, aespa held an online showcase titled "SYNK DIVE: aespa Savage SHOWCASE" to celebrate the release of their first mini-album, Savage, and the title track of the same name. During the event, it was revealed that the outfits aespa wore for their teasers and music video was made by Matthew M. Williams, the creative director of Givenchy.

The outfits were made directly for aespa, as they are the luxury brand's global brand ambassadors. The outfits were designed and crafted by hand by the Givenchy atelier team.
Based on the sensibility of Matthew M. Williams' unique style and love for street culture, the colors and styles of aespa's outfits were created while thinking of the individuality and style of each member of the group. In addition, Matthew M. Williams' signature hardware accessories were also styled into the outfits.

aespa's stage outfits are a unique blend of the colors of each member, as well as the delicate aesthetics and heritage of luxury fashion house Givenchy and Matthew M. Williams.
The haute couture outfits, which were created to be a perfect mix of aespa and Givenchy, can be seen in aespa's mini-album, teasers, and music videos.

aespa Relationship With Givenchy
In February 2021, Givenchy announced that they had selected aespa as their global brand ambassador. The group was chosen to showcase the collections and aesthetic of Givenchy's creative director, Matthew M. Williams.

This marks the first time Givenchy has selected a K-pop artist as a brand ambassador. When they were appointed, it was uncommon for luxury fashion brands to choose a whole group, not just individual members, to become global brand ambassadors, proving the influence of aespa.
When asked about their new partnership with aespa, Matthew M. Williams said, "When I first saw aespa, I was overwhelmed by the energy each member had. As a group with Karina, Giselle, Winter, and Ningning, I felt that each member's strong personality and style are naturally connected with Givenchy's aesthetic. aespa's fashion means having their own color."
