K-pop fans particularly ONCEs, the fandom of TWICE was alarmed as Nayeon's notorious stalker named "Josh" continues to upload videos showing an obsession with the female idol. On top of that, the "sasaeng" (obsessed fan) also hinted at his possible return to Korea – drawing attention.

On October 8, fans and supporters of TWICE Nayeon worries for her safety after the video of her stalker Josh circulated on online communities.

In particular, despite JYP Entertainment's stern warning to him, Josh still showed his obsession with Nayeon – by posting videos on his personal YouTube channel.

In Josh's latest video, the stalker greeted Nayeon on her birthday, expressing his obsessive love and affection to the idol.

He said, "Happy birthday, Nayeon. I really miss you. I just want to be with you."

Although these are common phrases that a fan would say to their idol, Josh crossed the line and was labeled as a "sasaeng" after disrespecting Nayeon's privacy — such as waiting for her in their dorm, riding the same airplane as the female star, and even tried to approach her with an ulterior motive.

While Josh is currently in Germany, the stalker alarmed fans after hinting at his video that he will go back to Korea to meet Nayeon.

He said, "Korea has been allowing most European citizens to enter the country since September 1. All you have to do is finish quarantine for 14 days. I ask Nayeon. Do you want me to go and self-isolate for two weeks after work ends in the next three weeks, and then I can meet Nayeon in five weeks. Do you have time?"

Josh went on that he will force himself to self-quarantine if Nayeon will have time for him in five weeks.

However, the stalker has argued through SNS that Nayeon has agreed to go out with him. He also asked for Nayeon's accommodation address through the fan cafe.

In particular, the possible return of Josh in Korea extremely caused distress to fans knowing that it will put Nayeon's safety on the line again.

This is not only a small matter to fans as in 2019, but the stalker also tried to approach the members – and even threatened to k*ll the idol if she will try to date someone other than him.

In the same year, JYP Entertainment, the agency, said on its official website in December 2019 that it was "requesting legal action available."

In 2020, the agency filed a criminal complaint against the stalker on February 8 for obstruction of business (Article 314 of the Criminal Act).
