BTS, NCT, SEVENTEEN, & More: October Boy Group Brand Reputations Rankings Released

The brand reputation rankings for boy groups this October has been unveiled! Among BTS, NCT, and SEVENTEEN, who do you think took first place? Keep on reading to know the results!

On Oct. 9, The Korean Business Research Institute issued their monthly brand reputation rankings for October after analyzing the big data of 51,330,325 index points collected from Sept. 9 to Oct. 9.

Through this brand reputation analysis, the positive and negative evaluations of the boy groups, the interest of media and consumers in them, as well as the communication frequency of the male groups are measured.

BTS Ranks No. 1 on the Boy Group Brand Reputation Rankings for October 2021

BTS has once again topped the list for the 41st consecutive month with a brand reputation index of 7,478,253 for October.

Even though their overall points this month decreased by 41.74% compared to their September index, the septet remains first in the boy group brand reputation rankings.

According to the Korean Business Research Institute, the high-ranking words in the group's link analysis are "record," "collaborate," and "support," while their highest-ranking terms in their keyword analysis are "Coldplay," "My Universe," and "Billboard."

It can be recalled that BTS released their first collaboration song with Coldplay, titled "My Universe" on Sept. 30.

"My Universe" made history on Billboard Hot 100 after it landed on the chart for the week ending on Oct. 9.

NCT Rises to No. 2 on the Boy Group Brand Reputation Rankings for October 2021

After claiming the third spot in September, NCT climbed up to No. 2 on this month's list with a brand reputation index of 3,851,680, which shows an increase of 63.52% compared to last month.

NCT suddenly became one of the popular topics in the K-pop scene after NCT 127 announced their comeback with their third studio album "Sticker."

After recording more than 2.12 million pre-orders, NCT 127's "Sticker" eventually sells over two million copies in its physical sales.

As of Sept. 24, "Sticker" sold a total of 2.15 million copies only within the first week since it was released. With this, NCT 127 earns their first "double million sellers" title.

And as of September, NCT 127's "Sticker" has sold over 2.27 million copies.

SEVENTEEN Climbs up to No. 3 on the Boy Group Brand Reputation Rankings for October 2021

SEVENTEEN also saw an increase in their brand reputation index, which led them to ascend to No. 3 on this month's rankings.

For October, the Pledis boy group earned a brand reputation index of 3,534,327 after gaining a 56.03% increase in their overall score.

SEVENTEEN is one of the highly-anticipated boy groups to make a comeback this month with their new mini-album "Attacca."
