SF9 Hwiyoung and Dawon Have Tested Positive for COVID-19
On October 14, FNC Entertainment released a statement through SF9's Daum fan came, confirming that SF9 members Hwiyoung and Dawon have tested positive COVID-19.

In their statement, they revealed the members tested positive for COVID-19 after taking a PCR test. All the members of SF9 were tested, and the other seven members of the group have tested negative. Dawon and Hwiyoung are currently undergoing self-isolation and are taking the necessary measures mandated by the health authorities.

Meanwhile, the other SF9 members are waiting for the results of the close contact tracing. FNC Entertainment stated that if it is determined that self-quarantine is necessary, the group will comply with the guidelines.
FNC Entertainment stated that they are prioritizing the health and safety of all their artists and will cooperate with the guidelines and requests of the health authorities. The agency apologizes for causing concern to so many people, and they promise that they will do their best so that their artists can recover quickly.

It was previously discovered that a staff member working with FNC Entertainment and SF9 had tested positive for COVID-19. The staff member had been in contact with Dawon, Hwiyoung, and Chani.

SF9 Recent Activities
SF9's last musical release was on July 5, 2021. The group released their ninth mini-album, Turn Over, with the title track Tear Drop. On the Gaon Album Chart, Turn Over peaked at number two on the Gaon Album Charts. In Japan, Turn Over peaked at number 12 on the Oricon Album Charts.
On the first day of the album's release, Turn Over sold 81.365, breaking their personal record of 72,272 with their 2020 mini-album 9loryUS. Within the first week of its release, Turn Over had sold 143,989, which is nearly double SF9's previous personal record. On the Billboard LyricFind Global Chart, Tear Drop peaked at number 15.

In April 2021, SF9 competed in Mnet's Kingdom: Legendary War against five other boy groups. The group finished at sixth place with 12,712.348 points.
