MONSTA X Minhyuk has finished being the MC of Back to the Idol Season 2.
On the afternoon of October 12, the last broadcast of MBC's web entertainment show Back to the Idol Season 2 aired.
MONSTA X Minhyuk, Back to the Idol season 2 MC with Super Junior Eunhyuk, has been receiving favorable reviews from global K-pop fans for leading guests, boasting stable and sensible progress, as well as perfect teamwork and chemistry with his fellow host.
In particular, MONSTA X Minhyuk succeeded in solidifying his presence as a host by showcasing his "all-rounder" character, which combines basic, pleasant, and witty talk as he worked as an MC from season 1, which aired in September 2020.
MONSTA X Minhyuk said through his agency Starship Entertainment, "It seems like the first broadcast of 'Back to the Idol' was just yesterday, but I'm sorry that it's already the last one. I think it was a good opportunity to grow one step further as an MC thanks to the production crew who trusted me and entrusted me to season 1 and 2."
MONSTA X Minhyuk added, "I would like to express my gratitude to everyone who has been with us during the season, including Eunhyuk, who has been by our side, guests who have appeared, and MONBEBE (MONSTA X fan club). 'Back to the Idol' has been completed, but we will continue to make efforts to greet you through various activities."
Minhyuk, who showed outstanding performance in charge of the Back to the Idol season 2, has established himself as a "blue chip in the broadcasting industry" by meeting the public with a wide range of activities, including SBS Inkigayo MC, Naver NOW's Vogue Ship Show, and entertainment program Our Neighborhood Class.
MONSTA X recently released their U.S. single One Day and has appeared on a large number of local flagship programs, continuing its worldwide popularity.
