There were a total of two complaints submitted to the Fair Trade Commission: the first one was filed on Oct. 1 and it involves a brand of tea that was mentioned during BTS Jungkook's live broadcast, and the second one was filed on Oct. 5 and it is about the male idol exposing clothes from his brother's clothing brand.

In response to the complaint that Jungkook intentionally exposed the outfits that his brother's company produces, the Fair Trade Commission stated that to have economic consideration, the content should have an impact on the public, so souvenirs and samples provided to unnamed people do not fall under this category (paid advertisements, etc.).

The FTC continued that if the content is created voluntarily by the individual, then there are no problems with it.

They went on to say that in the case of BTS Jungkook's alleged backdoor advertisement, they had difficulties in determining whether the exposure of the brand's clothing through different media was asked by the advertiser or done voluntarily.

The FTC further said that they decided to close Jungkook's "backdoor advertisement" case after confirming that there was no request for advertisements from the brand.
