EPEX has recorded the new highest first-week album sales on the Hanteo Chart with their second album, "BIPOLAR Pt.2: Prelude of Love"!
EPEX's Comeback Album Attains the Group's New First-Week Album Sales Record on Hanteo
On Oct. 26, EPEX made their first comeback since their debut in June with their second EP, "BIPOLAR Pt.2: Prelude of Love." Among the four songs from the album, "Do 4 Me" serves as the title track.
On the same day, EPEX's new album sold more than 20,000 copies on the Hanteo Chart. This already shows a significant growth in the group's album sales as their debut EP "BIPOLAR Pt.1: Prelude of Anxiety" only sold over 11,000 copies on its first day.

Notably, EPEX is the first rookie group that debuted in 2021 to surpass 20,000 copies on the first day on the Hanteo Chart.
On Oct. 27, the second day of sales, the new K-pop boy group sold another batch of albums totaling 15,208 copies. This marks an increase of more than 6,500 copies compared to the second-day sales amount of their debut EP.
Given that EPEX saw an improvement in sales on the first two days, they ultimately exceeded their first-week sales record with "BIPOLAR Pt. 1: Prelude of Anxiety."

In just two days, EPEX's comeback album "BIPOLAR Pt. 2: Prelude of Love" has sold a total of 35,433 copies on Hanteo, beating the first-week sales record of 33,535 copies set by their debut EP.
The new K-pop boy group's first-week album sales with their second EP are expected to go higher in the following days.

EPEX's second EP "BIPOLAR Pt.2: Prelude of Love" is an album that deals with the complex emotions of adolescence for the opposite sex, dreams, and animals.
The album's title song, "Do 4 Me," is a punk-pop track that shows the complicated feelings and bold confession of a boy who fell in love for the first time. It is marked by its guitar riffs, groovy bass line, and the disco vibe in the strings sections.
EPEX's "Do 4 Me" pays homage to Dua Lipa's "Break My Heart," "INXS's "Need You Tonight" and Queen's "Another One Bites the Dust."

At approximately 12:50 p.m. KST on Oct. 28, EPEX's "Do 4 Me" music video has more than 3.8 million views with 51,000 likes.
In the past 24 hours, the "Do 4 Me" MV was the second most-viewed K-pop MV with more than 2.9 million views. The Top 5 countries that streamed the most are Thailand, Indonesia, Iraq, Vietnam, and the United States.
With regard to the album's chart performance, EPEX's "BIPOLAR Pt.2: Prelude of Love" debuted at No. 88 on the Worldwide iTunes Album Chart. Meanwhile, "Do 4 Me" entered at No. 86 on the iTunes K-pop Song chart in the US.
