BTS Jungkook Uploads a Harry Styles' "Falling" Cover + Video Becomes Top Trending MV on YouTube US

On Oct. 29 at midnight KST, Jungkook released a cover of Harry Styles' "Falling" on BTS's official YouTube channel.

Dropped in December 2019, "Falling" is one of the songs from Harry Styles' full album "Fine Line." BTS member Jungkook reinterpreted the single with his distinct emotional and soothing voice as well as his clear high notes.

The recording, mixing, and mastering of Jungkook's cover of Harry Styles' "Falling" was performed by HYBE Studio engineer Jeon Boo Yeon.

In the past, BTS Jungkook shared numerous covers of popular songs on YouTube and SoundCloud, including Charlie Puth's "We Don't Talk Anymore," Dan + Shay and Justin Bieber's "10,000 Hours," Adam Levine's "Lost Stars," Lauv's "Never Not," George's "Look at Me," and IU's "Ending Scene."

He has even covered famous songs by Justin Bieber such as "Nothing Like Us," "Purpose," and "2U."

At approximately 6 a.m. KST on Oct. 29, BTS Jungkook's "Falling" cover became the top trending music video on YouTube in the United States.

Jungkook's "Falling" is also the No. 1 trending music video worldwide as of press time. What's more, it is trending on YouTube in 13 countries.

In particular, the cover video is trending at No. 1 in nine countries such as Argentina, Costa Rica, Peru, Mexico, Bolivia, Honduras, Guatemala, Paraguay, and Nicaragua. Also, it is charting inside the Top 30 in 14 different regions.

As of 9 a.m. KST, BTS Jungkook's "Falling" already surpassed 5.2 million views and 1.8 million likes on YouTube.

Meanwhile, Jungkook is also a trending topic on Twitter. ARMYs (BTS's fans) are using the keyword "JK of BTS" to show their support for the idol. A total of 184,000 tweets including the keyword has been done so far.

"JK of BTS" previously peaked at No. 1 on the worldwide trends on Twitter and trended in 14 countries including Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, the United States, Canada, Italy, Germany, and more.

BTS Jungkook Labeled as the "Live King" and "The God of Stage" for his Jaw-Dropping Performance at #PTD_ON_STAGE

On Oct. 24, BTS held an online concert called "BTS PERMISSION TO DANCE," which was held at Olympic Stadium in Seoul, South Korea.

Serving as a pre-cursor for their offline concerts in Los Angeles later this year, the two-hour show was viewed from 197 countries. The event was filled with spectacular performances, stunning outfits, and excellent stage production.
