#AlwaysWithIIIZONE Trends on Twitter as WIZ*ONE's Celebrate Group's 3rd Anniversary

October 29 marks IZ*ONE's debut date and this year marks their third anniversary. While the girl group has disbanded, their fans didn't forget this special day.

On Oct. 29, a few hashtags related to IZ*ONE started trending on Twitter as fans commemorate the girl group's third anniversary.

Hashtags such as "#AlwaysWithIIIZONE" and "#하나가되는순간_모두가주목해" are soaring high on Twitter's trending topics.

Fans around the world began using these hashtags before midnight on Oct. 29. And as of 11 p.m. KST, these two hashtags were already trending at Nos. 1 and 2 in South Korea. As of press time, "#AlwaysWithIIIZONE" remains a trending topic on Twitter in four countries such as the Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, and Korea, while "#하나가되는순간_모두가주목해" is trending in the three aforementioned countries except for Korea.

Moreover, "AlwaysWithIIIZONE" has been used in a total of 168,000 tweets so far, while "#하나가되는순간_모두가주목해" has more than 161,000 tweets.

Together with these hashtags, fans congratulated IZ*ONE on their third anniversary. Some fans also expressed how much they miss seeing the members them together and that they will support each member in their respective activities.

Formed through Mnet's survival show "Produce 48," IZ*ONE entered the world of K-pop on Oct. 29, 2018, with the release of their debut EP "Color*Iz." As a project idol group, the 12-member band was only allowed to promote for two years and six months. And, on April 29 this year, the Korean-Japanese group officially disbanded.

Although there were discussions for IZ*ONE's relaunch, the plan eventually fell through as the respective agencies of the members did not come to an agreement.

IZ*ONE Members That Have Made their Solo Debut after The Group's Disbandment

A few months after IZ*ONE's disbandment in April, a few of the members chose to continue their careers in the K-pop industry as solo artists.

On Aug. 24, former IZ*ONE leader Kwon Eunbi made her solo debut with her first solo mini-album "OPEN." The album consists of six songs including the electro-swing genre song "Door," which serves as the title track.

Kwon Eunbi's "Door" successfully entered the Billboard World Digital Song Sales chart at No. 3. Her mini-album also achieved commercial success in Japan as it debuted at No. 34 on the Oricon Albums Chart.

In South Korea, "OPEN" landed at No. 8 on the Gaon Album Chart while "Door" debuted at No. 14 on the Gaon Download Chart. The B-side songs also entered the download chart.

On Oct. 7, Jo Yuri became the second former IZ*ONE member to make her solo debut. She released her first solo single album, "GLASSY," on that day. The album is composed of three songs, one of which is the title track that is also called "GLASSY."

Jo Yuri's "GLASSY" debuted at No. 7 on the Gaon Album Chart and rose to No. 5 in its second week.

Choi Yena is also set to make her solo debut in the first half of 2022. It was initially scheduled for later this year, but her label Yuehua Entertainment will be launching a new boy group named TEMPEST before the year ends.
