SEVENTEEN's 'Attacca' Enters Top 10 Best-Selling Albums in Hanteo History with First-Week Sales

SEVENTEEN's "Attacca" has recorded impressive first-week sales on the Hanteo Chart, becoming one of the best-selling albums in the chart's history!

On Oct. 22, the 13-member K-pop boy group released their ninth mini-album "Attacca," which contains a total of seven songs including the title track "Rock with You."

"Attacca" comes after SEVENTEEN's fourth million-selling album "Your Choice," which was dropped this past June.

SEVENTEEN's "Attacca" Becomes One of the Best-Selling Albums in Hanteo History with Only Its First-Week Sales

On Oct. 29, Hanteo Chart officially announced that "Attacca" had surpassed 1.3 million copies in the first week of its release (Oct. 22 to 28). A total of 1,335,862 copies have been sold in the past seven days.

Remarkably, SEVENTEEN's new album took only five days to reach one million sales, becoming the group's second release this year to achieve the milestone following "Your Choice" (which sold 1,364,127 copies in its first week).

"Attacca" now holds SEVENTEEN's second-highest first-week sales record in their career, coming behind "Your Choice." These two albums are the only works of the group to sell over 1.3 million copies in the first week, to date.

According to Hanteo's calculations, SEVENTEEN's "Attacca" has recorded the third-highest first-week sales of any 2021 album on Hanteo, bested only by BTS's "Butter" and SEVENTEEN's "Your Choice."

What's more, "Attacca" has landed inside the Top 10 best-selling albums in Hanteo history. SEVENTEEN's new album has now claimed No. 8 with 1,335,862 total copies.

SEVENTEEN's "Attacca" has beaten EXO's "Don't Fight the Feeling," which has a cumulative sales amount of 1,252,636 copies.

SEVENTEEN's "Attacca" and "Rock with You" Debut on the Latest Gaon Charts

On Oct. 28, Gaon Chart released the chart rankings for the week of Oct. 17 to 23.

On the Gaon Album Chart, SEVENTEEN has four entries: "Attacca" at No. 1, "Attacca" (Kit Version) at No. 12, "An Ode" at No. 56 and "Heng:garae" at No. 92.

The two versions of "Attacca" also debuted on the Retail Album Chart at Nos. 1 and 5 respectively.

On the Gaon Download Chart, the Pledis boy group has three entries within the Top 10: "Rock with You" (No. 3), "To You" (No. 9) and "Crush" (No. 10).

The other SEVENTEEN songs on the download chart are "Imperfect Love" (No. 12), "2 MINUS 1" (No. 14), "I Can't Run Away" (No. 15), "PANG!" (No. 16) and "Is Still Beautiful" (No. 156).

Six new SEVENTEEN songs also made it to the latest Gaon Digital Chart, with "Rock with You" as the highest-ranking song at No. 27 with over 10 million points.

Meanwhile, the music video for SEVENTEEN's "Rock with You" has reached a new peak on YouTube when it comes to views.

On Oct. 29, the "Rock with You" MV hit 30 million views. The video took just six days to achieve the feat.

With this, "Rock with You" ties with SEVENTEEN's previous song "Left & Right" as the group's fastest music video to accumulate 30 million views on YouTube.
