BTS Delivers a Special Message for UNICEF's 'Love Myself' Campaign Anniversary
The Korean Committee of UNICEF announced on November 1 that the K-Pop Boy Group BTS delivered a special video that contains a congratulatory message on the 4th anniversary of UNICEF's "Love Myself" campaign.
With the special video, BTS recalled their four years of working with UNICEF for it to be an inspiration of hope and comfort to a lot of people all over the world.
They continued saying that they are very excited to see how much more positive energy the campaign will give next year and the year after that. The video can be watched on UNICEF Korea and BTS TV's YouTube channel.
On November 1, 2017, BTS and Big Hit Music (formerly known as Big Hit Entertainment) both agreed with the Korean Committee for UNICEF to sponsor UNICEF's campaign to abolish violence against children and adolescents through the "ENDviolence" and "Love Myself" campaign's launch all over the world. With the help of the campaign in the past four years, a total of $3.6 million dollars (as of October 2021) have been donated to the Korean Committee of UNICEF and in the UNICEF "World Children's Report" for this year.

The Secretary-General of the UNICEF Korea Committee, Lee Ki-cheol, said that BTS' good influence that they have been conveying in the last four years has been truly remarkable, and it was comforting.
He added that the group contributed greatly in promoting Korea all over the world. They donated over one billion won to UNICEF annually, and they also actively supported UNICEF's campaign to abolish violence against children and teenagers.
The UNICEF Korean Committee is representing UNICEF in Korea by raising funds and advocating for children's rights.

BTS Gets Nominated for 3 Categories at The 2021 American Music Awards
The K-pop boy group BTS is nominated for the categories: Artist of the Year, Favorite Pop Duo or Group, and Favorite Pop Song for the full English single "Butter."
Last October 28, the American Music Awards unveiled the nominees for this year's awards ceremony through its social media sites.
For the first time ever, BTS has been nominated for the "Artist of the Year" at American Music Awards.

BTS has been on the list of the nominees for American Music Awards since 2018, and they have successfully won in at least one category for three consecutive years.
The septet won as the Favorite Social Artist in 2018. The following year, they won Favorite Social Artist, Favorite Pop/Rock Duo/Group, and Tour of the Year.
In 2020, they won the awards Favorite Pop/Rock Genre Duo/Group and Favorite Social Artist.
This year's American Music Awards will be held at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on November 21 and will be broadcast through ABC.
