TWICE 'Formula of Love' Album Sneak Peek: Girl Group Shares Snippets of Their New Songs

TWICE has released an album sneak peek of their "Formula of Love: O+T=<3" to give fans a quick listen to their upcoming songs.

On Nov. 8 at 2 p.m. KST, the JYP girl group uploaded a video containing the snippets of all the songs from their third full album, "Formula of Love: O+T<3."

Previously, it was revealed the TWICE's "Formula of Love" will be filled with a total of 17 songs, including the title track "SCIENTIST," some songs written by members, and some sub-unit songs.

In the album sneak peek, the snippet for the title song features catchy lyrics such as "Why do you keep studying me, I'm not Einstein. Why not study the angles like the sin and cos?"

Shim Eunji, a K-pop hit song maker, wrote the lyrics for TWICE's "SCIENTIST" while it was composed by producer Tommy Brown (who made hit songs for famous foreign artists like Ariana Grande and Justin Bieber), British singer-songwriter and pop star Anne Marie, and more.

Some of the B-side songs from TWICE's third full album contain lyrics that the members wrote. In particular, Dahyun wrote "CRUEL," which is about a girl asking if she looks cruel after breaking up with her partner.

Through "F.I.L.A" (Fall In Love Again), Nayeon's lyrics express a worried heart of a girl and talk about her conflict with her love.

Meanwhile, Jihyo wrote the lyrics for "Real You" and "CACTUS" and also co-composed the latter song.

Apart from the members' self-written songs, TWICE's "Formula of Love" will also contain several ballad R&B genre songs such as "Moonlight," "Icon," "Last Waltz," "Espresso," and "Rewind."

"Formula of Love: O+T<3" is due out on Nov. 12 at 2 p.m. KST and noon KST on the same day, the JYP girl group will hold a comeback showcase.

TWICE's "The Feels" Becomes the Group's Fastest Song to Exceed 50 Million Streams on Spotify

In other news, TWICE's first English-language single "The Feels" has obtained a new milestone on Spotify when it comes to streams.

On Nov. 6, "The Feels" reached 50 million streams on Spotify. It was first released on Oct. 1, so this means the song took 36 days to reach the milestone.

"The Feels" is now TWICE's fastest track to hit 50 million Spotify streams, beating "I Can't Stop Me" which recorded 41 days.

Aside from that, TWICE's "The Feels" has also become the fastest 2021 girl group song to achieve the feat, surpassing Little Mix's "Heartbreak Anthem" which also set a record of 41 days.

At the time of its release, "The Feels" debuted at No. 65 on the Spotify Global Chart with more than 1.33 million streams. This is the JYP girl group's biggest debut on the global chart to date.

For the No. 6 update of the Spotify Global Chart, TWICE's English song claimed the No. 76 spot with over 1.18 million streams.
