BLACKPINK Hits 900 Million views With 'How You Like That' Choreography Video

YG Entertainment, BLACKPINK's management agency, stated that the performance video of BLACKPINK's "How You Like That" exceeded 900 million views on YouTube at 11:15 PM (KST) on November 7.

It has been a year and four months since the choreography video was released on July 6 last year. It is the sixth video that reached 900 million views in BLACKPINK's career. This is the quartet's choreography video to be the first to reach the highest record of views.

If ever the trend continues, there is speculation that it will exceed the record of "DDU-DU DDU-DU," which has the most viewed music video title in K-Pop by having a record of 1.7 billion views.

The actual music video of "How You Like That" and its choreography video are now breaking the K-pop billion-view records that were set by "DDU-DU DDU-DU" for a small amount of time. 'How You Like That,' with an impressive strong beat, is a song with a message to not give in and fly high in any situation. At the 2020 MTV Video Music Awards in the US, it won 'Best Song of the Summer,' and in the same year, it took first place on YouTube's 'Global Top Summer Song'.

YG Entertainment Bombarded with Questions About BLACKPINK Jisoo's Solo

The hashtag "#YG_ConfirmJISOOSOLO" along with the phrase "JISOO SOLO PLANS WHERE" has been trending on Twitter since November 7. BLINKs are expressing to Twitter their demand for updates from YG Entertainment about Jisoo's solo debut.

The last update that YG Entertainment provided about Jisoo's solo debut was last June 2020. The agency said that Jisoo was in the midst of getting ready for her solo debut, however, they could not reveal a release date because of Jisoo's commitments to filming of "Snowdrop," a drama where she stars in.

Instead, they said that Jisoo would be the last BLACKPINK member to make her solo debut.

The agency's actions at that time has aroused mixed reactions from BLINKs worldwide. Some people are already slamming YG Entertainment, stating that fans have been waiting for Jisoo's solo for three years, and also, the other three members of BLACKPINK have made their solo debut already.

But, others are criticizing those who are flooding BLACKPINK's tweet, saying that it puts the girl group on a negative side. Their tweets might also cause an embarrassment for Jisoo, particularly since COP26 official Twitter account was mentioned in BLACKPINK's tweet. Also, people pointed out that COP26 can create negative judgments about BLACKPINK based on their replies.
