BTS to Perform 'Butter' With Megan Thee Stallion at the '2021 American Music Awards'

On November 8, The "American Music Awards" revealed the list of artists that will perform at this year's awards show through its official website and SNS.

According to the list, BTS will attend the awards ceremony and perform their track "Butter."

Particularly, the stage will be a joint stage with the American rapper, Megan Thee Stallion. She participated in the remix version of "Butter."

BTS Gets Three Nominations at the '2021 American Music Awards'

On October 28, the "2021 American Music Awards" unveiled the nominees for this year's American Music Awards through its official website and SNS channels.

The awards program revealed that BTS has been nominated for three categories, namely: Artist of the Year, Favorite Pop Duo or Group, and Favorite Pop Song for "Butter," which the septet will perform during the awards night.

For the first time in their career, BTS has been nominated for the category Artist of the Year at the "American Music Awards."

The Global K-Pop group has been on the list of the nominees for the AMAs since 2018, and they won in at least one category for three years.

In 2018, BTS received the Favorite Social Artist. In 2019, the boys won Favorite Social Artist, Favorite Pop/Rock Duo/Group, and Tour of the Year.

Then, they won the awards Favorite Pop/Rock Genre Duo/Group and Favorite Social Artist in 2020.

The "2021 American Music Awards" will be held at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, USA at 8 PM on November 21, and the awards ceremony will be broadcast live on US TV channel ABC.

On the other hand, BTS will hold an offline concert "BTS Permission To Dance on Stage - LA" for the first time in almost two years in Los Angeles on November 27 and 28 and December 1 and 2 after their performance during the "2021 American Music Awards."

BTS Bagged Two Awards during the 2021 MTV Video Music Awards Japan

On October 29, MTV Video Music Awards Japan revealed this year's winners through its official website and SNS channels.

The global boy group was one of the artists who won and they claimed two awards. The septet has taken home the "Beset Group Video (International)" for their Full-English single "Butter."

The second award is "Best Collaboration Video (International)" for their collaboration track "My Universe" with Coldplay."

This is the fourth time that BTS bagged an award at the 2021 MTV VMAJ. In 2018, the boy group claimed the "Best Group Video (International)" for "Fake Love," and they got the "Best Buzz Award" in 2019.
