BLACKPINK Lisa's 'MONEY' Becomes the First Song by a Female K-pop Artist to Spend This Long on Billboard Global Excl. US
On Nov. 8 local time, Billboard announced the latest Top 10 songs on Billboard Global Excl. US, which ranks songs based on streaming and sales activity from over 200 countries around the world, excluding the United States.
One of the songs by a K-pop act on the Billboard chart is BLACKPINK Lisa's "MONEY," which took the No. 10 spot. The other track by a Korean artist is "My Universe" by BTS & Coldplay at No. 9.

"MONEY" has now spent its fourth consecutive week inside the Top 10 of Billboard Global Excl. US since it first entered the Top 10 of the chart dated Oct. 23.
With that, BLACKPINK Lisa's "MONEY" becomes the first song by a female K-pop artist in history to spend a whole month or four weeks within the Top 10 of the Billboard chart.

The only other songs by a female K-pop artist with multiple weeks inside the Top 10 of Billboard Global Excl. US are BLACKPINK's "Ice Cream" (with Selena Gomez) and "Lovesick Girls," as well as Lisa's "LALISA." All of these three tracks spent two weeks in the Top 10.
Furthermore, BLACKPINK Lisa becomes the first-ever female K-pop artist to chart for six cumulative weeks within the Top 10 of the Billboard chart - "LALISA" spent two weeks and "MONEY" has spent four weeks.

BLACKPINK Lisa's 'LALISA' Becomes the Fastest Album by a K-pop Soloist to Hit 300 Million Spotify Streams
On another note, Lisa's single album "LALISA" has a new achievement on Spotify. The album has surpassed 300 million streams on the app at approximately 1:20 a.m. KST on Nov. 9.
Released on Oct. 10, "LALISA" took 60 days to reach 300 million Spotify streams. It has now surpassed BTS Suga's "D-2," which took 341 days to attain the feat.
As of writing, the title track "LALISA" has exceeded 120 million streams while "MONEY" has over 180 million streams on Spotify.

In addition to streams, BLACKPINK Lisa also obtained a new milestone in terms of monthly listeners. The Thai rapper now has more than 27.6 monthly listeners on Spotify. This is the highest number for a K-pop soloist in history.
This accomplishment also makes Lisa the most-listened female K-pop artist in the world at this time.
Furthermore, BLACKPINK Lisa's "MONEY" consistently ranks within the Top 10 of the Spotify Global Chart. The song marked its 28th week on Nov. 8 after it secured No. 10 with over 2.9 million streams.
"MONEY" has extended its record as the longest-running song by a female K-pop artist inside the Top 10 of the Spotify chart.
