According to the popular music industry, on the 9th, an image imitating BLACKPINK's teaser poster for the release of a new song was circulated on social media and communities, including Twitter.

As a response, YG Entertainment denied that the poster was official, breaking the hearts of fans that anticipated BLACKPINK's release for a long time.

However, YG added that it is true that the members are preparing for their return, drawing interest.

BLACKPINK's Comeback Track is Titled, 'Ready for Love'? Fake Poster Teaser Circulates on SNS

On the 9th, a poster that looks like a teaser for the release of BLACKPINK's new song circulated on various social media platforms, capturing attention from fans around the world.

In the photo, the logo of the quartet's agency YG Entertainment was embedded, the release date and time were specified, and the title of the song "Ready for Love" was also written in the said teaser poster.

The poster immediately spread among overseas BLINKs (BLACKPINK fandom), not only because it is well-edited, but the title of the song is also on point.

In context, "Ready for Love" is known as a song partially released to fans through the Netflix documentary "BLACKPINK: Light Up the Sky."

Some of the undisclosed song recording sites were included in the documentary, and it was rumored among fans that the song was "Ready for Love."

As a result, the content of the poster that BLACKPINK's new song will be released at 6 p.m. on November 26th has become a "fact" among fans who only saw the poster.

YG Entertainment Confirms BLACKPINK is Preparing for a Comeback But Denies Circulating Release Date

Amidst the rumor that BLACKPINK will return in November, several internet users were skeptical about the poster as the title song has not even been confirmed by the agency, and there's no official post from YG as well.

Although it is true that most global stars such as BLACKPINK usually release new songs on Friday, but specific information is not correct as they have been released around 1 p.m. in time for North America.

Due to fans' concerns and curiosity, some web users grabbed the attention of YG Entertainment for clarification.

On the same day, YG Entertainment told the Korean media outlet Newsis that the image was not true.

"It is true that BLACKPINK's new project is being prepared, but the timing has yet to be confirmed. The content distributed on SNS today is not YG Entertainment's official poster, so I hope there will be no confusion for the fans," YG Entertainment explained.

Although fans' hope was once again broken, some fans rejoiced nonetheless as YG Entertainment avowed that fans could anticipate BLACKPINK's return on stage soon.
