The first female idol mentioned by Elle Korea is BLACKPINK member Jennie! The publication noted that the two have a similar sense of fashion. Jennie's mother is fond of simple and plain clothes but catches people's eye with her unique mixing and matching. The photos that Jennie shared on her social media prove that to be true.
It is rumored that Jennie's mother used to be a model in the past. It is said that the famous inner shirt that Jennie wore over her sky blue blazer at the Chanel Paris Fashion Week show in 2018 is also her mother's clothes.
Many people already know that Jennie is her birth name, not a stage name or an English name. The name was given to the idol by her mother. Jennie's mom, who is a massive fan of Lee Jung Jae after watching the SBS drama "Hourglass," wanted to name her son Jae Hee, the name of Lee Jung Jae's character in the drama.

Her character was well-loved internationally. Many people also loved that Hyeri resembled Lee Il Hwa (name of both character and actress), the mother of Deok Sun. It is said that the two actresses treat each other like family.
However, Hyeri has an immense love for her actual mother. The idol has shared photos of her mom on YouTube and Instagram, surprising viewers with her stunning beauty.
Hyeri not only inherited her beauty from her mother but her kindness as well. In 2019, Hyeri became the youngest member of the UNICEF Honors Club. To be a member, you must donate at least 100 million KRW. At the time, Hyeri said that she learned her love for volunteering from her mother.
