On November 10, K-Pop Radar announced their "2021 K-Pop World Map" based on TikTok data. There, they revealed the top ten most followed K-pop artists on the platform. Keep on reading to see who made the top ten.
10. Jeon Somi
Ranking in tenth place is Jeon Somi, with 4.8 million followers. She is the only soloist who is not part of a group to make the top ten. The idol has amassed 75 million likes across her videos. She mainly uses the account to promote her comebacks but occasionally also posts fun and personal videos.
9. ITZY
Ninth place goes to the JYP Entertainment girl group ITZY with 5.4 million followers. The group has amassed 70.3 million likes across their videos. ITZY actually has two TikTok accounts: their main one and their Japanese account. Their Japanese TikTok account has 163.1k followers.
8. NCT
NCT ranked in eighth place with 6.3 million followers. The SM Entertainment boy group amassed 119.1 million likes across their videos. NCT 127 also has their own TikTok account, which currently has 1.4 million followers as of the time of writing.
7. Stray Kids
Seventh place went to Stray Kids, who currently has 8.9 million followers. This JYP Entertainment boy group has garnered 118.9 million likes across their videos. Similar to ITZY, Stray Kids has two TikTok accounts, one main one and one Japanese one. Stray Kids' Japanese account currently has 5.3 million followers.
6. ENHYPEN
ENHYPEN ranked in sixth place with 8.8 million followers. This rookie boy group garnered 169.1 million likes across their videos. The boy group often uses the TikTok account to both promote their comebacks and share fun videos for their fans and followers.
5. TWICE
TWICE ranked in fifth place with 12.1 million followers. The girl group has garnered 205.7 million likes across their TikTok videos. Like Stray Kids and ITZY, TWICE also has a separate account for their Japanese promotions. Their Japanese account currently has 3.1 million followers.
4. TXT
Ranking in fourth place is the Big Hit Entertainment boy group TXT with 12.4 million followers. TXT has amassed 323 million likes across their TikTok videos. The boy group often shares funny and personal TikTok videos for their fans and videos to promote their music.
3. BLACKPINK Rosé
Rosé of BLACKPINK ranked in third place with 20.8 million followers. Her TikTok videos have amassed 226.2 million likes as of the time of writing. She is the only BLACKPINK member with her own TikTok account and was established during promotions of "-R-."
2. BLACKPINK
Ranking in second place is BLACKPINK with 26.9 million followers, making them the most-followed K-pop girl group on the platform. In addition, BLACKPINK has garnered 233.1 million likes across their videos. The girl group uses the account to promote their comebacks and the members' solo debuts.
1. BTS
Taking the throne as the most followed K-pop group on the platform is BTS, with a whopping 43.4 million followers! In addition, BTS has amassed 711.9 million likes across their videos. BTS makes TikTok videos that promote their releases as well as fun and humorous videos for the ARMYs enjoyment.
