Daisy has been eliminated from the program, but was added to the group in April 2017 after signing an exclusive contract with MLD Entertainment in September 2016.
They debuted with the title song "Jankong Kwang" which came from their mini album "Welcome to MOMOLAND." Then, they emerged as a super rookie with addictive music and energetic performances.
In 2018, the girl group released their song "Bboom Bboom," which caused a worldwide last song syndrome (LSS). The global hit recorded 530 million views of the music video.
Then, they released another music video "BAAM" afterwards and it reached 200 Million views on YouTube.
MOMOLAND's "BAAM" debuted on the Gaon Digital Chart at No. 23 in the last week of June in South Korea. It climbed to the 15th spot in its second week then 14th in its third week on Gaon Chart.
On its fourth week since the release, "BAAM" spiked at No. 13. It was then named as 15th best-selling song in July 2018.
Aside from the two hits, they also released "I'm So Hot" and "Banana Chacha" which were also loved by the fans.
The girl group has not made a comeback in 2021. Nevertheless, they are actively participating in events like K-pop concerts in the previous months, including Joy Ruckus Club K-pop SuperFest and G K-pop Concert.
Their latest comeback is in November last year with their third single album "Ready or Not." In this song, PSY participated as the lyricist in one of the songs, specifically the title track, "Ready or Not."
Even though MOMOLAND did not release a new single or new album this year, they had a collaboration with CHROMANCE last February. The K-pop girl group and German producer released a new version of the producer's hit song "Wrap Me In Plastic."
