The ticket price for NU'EST's offline concert "THE BLACK" is currently attracting attention among netizens as it is quite high compared to musicals and other groups' concerts.

NU'EST's 'THE BLACK' Concert Shocks Many for Its Steep Ticket Price

On Nov. 10, NU'EST uploaded a poster for their upcoming concert, called "THE BLACK," which will be held offline.

This will be the first time in more than two years that the K-pop group will hold a concert wherein they will meet the fans face to face since "Segno in Seoul" was held in April of 2019.

NU'EST's "THE BLACK" concert will take place over three days: on Nov. 26 at 7 p.m. KST, Nov. 27 at 6 p.m. KST and Nov. 28 at 5 p.m. KST. All three shows will be held at the Jamsil Indoor Stadium in Seoul.

Pre-sale of tickets for the fan club members will be available from 8 p.m. KST on Nov. 16 while the regular ticket sales will start at 8 p.m. KST on Nov. 18. Tickets are available for purchase via Interpark.

As it is the group's first time in so long to hold a solo concert, NU'EST's "THE BLACK" became a hot topic online, with many fans expressing their excitement.

In a particular online community, a post concerning the offline event gained more than 2,000 comments in about three hours after the announcement.

In the comments, some online users took note of the ticket price for NU'EST's 2021 concert. According to the details of the event, all reserved seats will cost 165,000 won (approximately 140 US dollars) including VAT (value-added tax).

Netizens stated that not only is the ticket price the same for all seats but it is also more expensive compared to musicals and other idol groups' concerts that were held in the past.

One user asked, "Shouldn't the price be lower for the seats that are far from the stage?" while another user said, "Tickets for performances and musicals in Korea are not this high."

On the contrary, some users commented that the ticket price for NU'EST's 2021 concert might be high because of the social distancing that will be implemented during the event.

Released on April 9, "Romanticize" is the boy group's first full album in seven years since their first studio album "Re:Birth" was dropped in 2014. It contains a total of 10 songs including the title track "INSIDE OUT" and the solo songs by the members.

NU'EST's "INSIDE OUT" is a chill house track with a minimalistic sound. The lyrics talk about pretending to be okay about an upcoming breakup but learning your true feelings about wishing to be with your special someone.
