K-pop idol Yuri is back! On the pre-release video of MBC's "Excitement After School," the Girls' Generation (SNSD) member showcased her unrelenting dance skills and charisma as an idol as she performed her solo version of the group's 2011 hit, "The Boys"!
On November 18, MBC's girl group audition program, "Excitement After School," uploaded pre-release clips on its official YouTube channel ahead of the first broadcast of the show.

On the social media platform, MBC unveiled performances by Fin. K.L. Ock Joo Hyun, HOOK Aiki, Girls' Generation (SNSD) Kwon Yuri, and (G)I-DLE Soyeon.
Among the dancers, Kwon Yuri, member of K-pop's OG "Nation's Girl Group" SNSD, gained massive reaction for her idol image, which hasn't been seen by SONEs (SNSD fandom) and K-pop fans since SNSD and its sub-unit Oh!GG's hiatus.

In the video, Yuri showed off the choreography of Girls' Generation's legendary song, "The Boys." She drew attention by rearranging the original "The Boys" stage and performed in the water instead.
Despite the seemingly cold water, Yuri sets the stage on fire with her fiery dance skills that never changed, and her strong charisma completely embodied the song, which lyrically talks about women's attractiveness and power.
"The Boys" is a song released in 2011, released in both Korean and English. This Girls' Generation track didn't only make it huge in Korea, but globally and had been performed on huge American broadcasts, such as in "Late Show with David Letterman" and "LIVE! With Kelly."
(G)I-DLE Soyeon, HOOK Aiki and More Showcase Incredible Dance Skills in 'Excitement After School' Pre-Release Videos
Along with Yuri, Jeon Soyeon of (G)I-DLE performed their track, "OH MY GOD." She created a new version of the song with the dancers.
HOOK Aiki also performed a witty performance in line with Beyoncé's "End of Time."
Lastly, Ock Joo Hyun sang Fin. K.L's "NOW." The song is the title song of Fin. K.L's third full-length album, released in 2000, and has been covered several times by junior girl groups KARA, Girls' Generation, and Wonder Girls.
Instantly, fans flocked to various social sites and commented, "It's been a while since Kwon Yuri was on stage, she ripped the alternative stage," "I love you because there's no genre she's really bad at," "Soyeon proved to be a genius in arranging songs," and "Ock Joo Hyun NOW, I love Fin.K.L."
"Excitement After School" will premiere at 8:20 p.m. on November 28, and the legendary idols including Yuri will join the show as mentors.
