On Nov. 25, the Korean media outlet Sports Chosun released an exclusive report about the person who will sing the original soundtrack for the upcoming drama "That Year, We."
"That Year, We" is a romantic comedy show based on the webtoon "That Year, We Like Early Summer." It will be about the complicated feelings between a man and a woman who meet once more because of a documentary recorded in high school 10 years ago.
According to the report, multiple industry officials stated that BTS V had been selected to sing the "That Year, We" OST.
They added that V decided to participate in SBS's new drama when he learned that his best friend Choi Woo Sik will take the lead role in the show.

As a member of BTS, V is dominating the world but he has also received favorable reviews for his solo songs including OSTs for different dramas.
In the past, V sang "Sweet Night" for the popular drama "Itaewon Class" and "It's Definitely You" (with BTS Jin) for "Hwarang," which stars his other best friends Park Seo Joon and Park Hyung Sik.
As BTS V gave a splendid performance in singing OSTs before, hot interest in the "That Year, We" OST is emerging.
As of writing, no official statement from Big Hit Music nor SBS has been released to confirm the report.
