The final voting round for the Worldwide Fans' Choice for the 2021 Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) has begun and artists including BTS, Stray Kids, aespa, TWICE, BLACKPINK Lisa and more made it to the final Top 20.

BTS, Stray Kids, ENHYPEN and More Male Artists Dominate the Final Top 20 for 2021 MAMA's Worldwide Fans' Choice
On Nov. 25 at 6 p.m. KST, the final round of voting for Worldwide Fans' Choice Top 10 started and only 20 artists with the most votes during the preliminary round are the remaining nominees.
Among the 20 K-pop acts, 13 of them are male artists and they range from second-generation idols to fourth-generation idols.
The artist who is currently in the first place is none other than the Grammy nominee BTS. The septet has 15.88% of the total votes as of writing. During the pre-voting round, BTS also ranked first after gaining 11.19% of the total votes.

Claiming the second spot is Stray Kids with 14.15% of the total votes. The "million-seller" group placed No. 2 during the finale of the pre-voting as well.
ENHYPEN, TREASURE and SEVENTEEN follow Stray Kids as they take Nos. 3, 4 and 5 respectively.
It can be seen that the current Top 5 for the 2021 MAMA's Worldwide Fans' Choice are all boy groups, two of which are second-generation artists and the rest are fourth-generation idols.
The other male artists who are competing for the Worldwide Fans' Choice are TXT, NCT Dream, NCT 127, ATEEZ, ASTRO, EXO, The Boyz and iKON.
TWICE, BLACKPINK Lisa, aespa and More Female Artists Enter the Final Top 20 for 2021 MAMA's Worldwide Fans' Choice
As mentioned above, 13 male artists have secured spots in the final top 20 so, this means only seven female acts are included in the list.
The female act who holds the highest rank so far is TWICE at No. 6 with 6.59% of the total votes. During the pre-voting round, the JYP girl group only held the second-highest rank, No. 10, as BLACKPINK Lisa finished in eighth place.

Since the final voting will not close until December, it is unclear whether TWICE's ranking would rise or descend in the coming days.
Joining TWICE inside the Top 10 of the Worldwide Fans' Choice are BLACKPINK Lisa and Rosé at Nos. 8 and 9 respectively.
The last four places in the Top 20 are currently held by the four other female artists: ITZY, Red Velvet, IU and aespa.
More than 200 countries including the ones from Asia, North America, South American and Europe are participating in the voting for the selection of Worldwide Fans' Choice Top 10 winners.

Kim Hyun Soo, CJ ENM's Director of Music Content Division, stated, "After adding up the votes on the 2021 MAMA website with the votes on Apple Music and Twitter, there was a lot of change in the rankings."
Meanwhile, the final voting for the Worldwide Fans' Choice Top 10 will run until 4:59 p.m. KST on Dec. 9 and the winners will be announced on Dec. 11.
