BLACKPINK Lisa Tests Positive for COVID-19, Group Activities Halted

On November 24, YG Entertainment revealed BLACKPINK Lisa tested positive for COVID-19. YG Entertainment stated that the company was strictly following government guidelines, and they would give updates on Lisa's situation as soon as possible.

"We first shared this information quickly and accurately with staff and representatives, and we took intensive preemptive measures even beyond the guidelines of the health authorities," YG Entertainment declared.

The label added, "In the future, we will spare no effort to support the health of our artists and related staff as our top priority. If there are any changes in the future, we will notify you as soon as possible."

Lisa's fellow BLACKPINK members, Jennie, Rose, and Jisoo were also tested for the infection and the results came out negative. It was reported that the three girls did not have close contact with the BLACKPINK rapper in the past few days.

"We wish Lisa a speedy recovery, and we plan to faithfully cooperate with the quarantine authorities' epidemiological investigations and take all the necessary measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19," the music agency concluded.

The agency also declared that Lisa's results were an advanced infection because all of the BLACKPINK members received their vaccination. They also confirmed that the label, along with its staff and artists, have been paying much closer attention to their health through preventive tests.
