#PTD_ON_STAGE_LA: BTS Becomes the First Artist to Have 4 Sold-Out Concerts in the History of SoFi Stadium

BTS has set a new world record with their four-day concert "BTS Permission to Dance on Stage" at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles!

On Nov. 28 (local time), Christy Butcher, the Senior Vice President of SoFi Stadium, announced that the tickets for BTS's four-day LA concert, "Permission to Dance on Stage" have been sold out.

Christy also said, "We are very pleased to hold BTS' historical first concert in America since 2019 at SoFi Stadium."

Butcher continued that while numerous artists have performed at SoFi Stadium in the past, BTS is the first and only act to sell out four concerts. Naturally, the K-pop group has also set the record for the most ticket sales among bands and artists who performed at the stadium.

According to reports, tickets for the four-night "BTS Permission to Dance on Stage" were sold out even before the general sales opened.

SoFi Stadium is the most expensive stadium in the world, completed in July last year at $4.963 billion (approximately 5,926.3 trillion won). It is the home of the NFL (National Football League of America): Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Chargers. It also accommodates La Bowl (NCAA).

Moreover, the stadium can accommodate 70,000 to 100,000 people. However, roughly 50,000 fans were only allowed to attend per event at the four-night "BTS Permission to Dance on Stage." It is worth noting that this is the first time that BTS held concerts at SoFi Stadium yet they already set another world record.

Meanwhile, BTS is holding the second night of their LA concert "BTS Permission to Dance" as of writing.

In addition to the main show, BTS's four sold-out concerts will be broadcast live through YouTube Theatre in Inglewood, California, which will be called "LIVE PLAY." The livestream was designed for the fans who were unable to secure tickets for the live concert.

"LIVE PLAY" will also comprise a series of programs including a Landmark Photo Zone and Photo Card Random Box where fans can participate in a giveaway to obtain BTS photocards.

BTS Jimin Confesses He Didn't Enjoy "#PTD_ON_STAGE_LA" Day 1

After the first day of "BTS Permission to Dance on Stage" was held, BTS members V, Jungkook and Jimin held a V Live broadcast to talk to the fans.

During the livestream, Jimin confessed that he couldn't enjoy the experience of performing live on stage to the fullest. He added that he was nervous when he reunited with the fans at SoFi Stadium after a long time.

BTS Jimin went on to say that he couldn't see the ARMYs properly despite them being in front of the group. Later on, he thanked the fans for waiting for their return to the stage and for helping the members enjoy the rush of performing again.

During a global press conference held before the second night of "BTS Permission to Dance on Stage," Jimin also talked about his disappointment of not being able to perform well. He explained that he had a lot of thoughts about what to look like, what gestures to make and what words to say to the fans and so, he felt like he didn't enjoy the concert.

BTS Jimin then said that he hopes to enjoy the event to the fullest during the remaining three shows.
