On Dec. 2, a Korean media outlet released some of the comments left by Japanese fans on ITZY's performance on the two Japanese TV shows.
According to the report, the JYP girl group's stages on the two Japanese TV shows didn't get a good response in the local area. Hundreds of comments from Japanese fans were posted on Twitter, criticizing the band for failing to show the same performances they show in Korea.
One Twitter user commented, "We warmly welcome ITZY's activities in Japan but, contrary to what I expected, ITZY's stage on 'Sukkiri' was very disappointing. Compared to what I saw in other videos, the choreography on the show felt very loose."

Some netizens asserted that ITZY seldom sings live and often relies on a prerecorded soundtrack throughout their performance, so they should have at least focused more on the choreography.
Criticism on ITZY's stages on TV Asahi's "Music Station" and Nippon TV's "Sukkiri" continued in the Japanese online community "5ch." One user shared the video of the girl group's performance and negative comments can be seen under the post.
One Japanese netizen stated, "Most Korean idols have impressive performances, but ITZY's stage feels weak," while another netizen said, "All the members are pretty but there's nothing to pay attention to other than that."
