SEVENTEEN has been selected as the artist for the "MTV PUSH" campaign, becoming the first K-pop act to be named.

On Dec. 7, MTV took to its official social media accounts to reveal the artist who will be featured in its PUSH global campaign this month. It is none other than the million-seller group SEVENTEEN.

Along with the announcement, MTV shared a 10-second clip showing SEVENTEEN. In the video, member Seungkwan happily announced, "What's up, MTV? We are SEVENTEEN and we are this month's PUSH Artist," which was followed by loud cheers from the band.

The MTV PUSH franchise treats fans to new content with its chosen artists, including exclusive broadcast premieres of music videos, live performances, video content, interviews, and more each month. All content is made available on their on-air, digital, and social platforms.

In May this year, SEVENTEEN was featured in the network's Asian Pacific Islander Heritage Month special, called "See Us Unite for Change," together with Black Eyed Peas, Saweetie, Jhene Aiko, and more.

In the past, the MTV PUSH campaign has spotlighted numerous well-known artists including Billie Eilish, Lauv, Olivia Rodrigo, Khalid, H.E.R., The Kid Laroi and more.

SEVENTEEN has been actively promoting in the United States this year, particularly appearing on numerous local television shows such as CBS's "The Late Late Show with James Corden," NBC's "The Kelly Clarkson Show," U.S. talk show "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" and "Jimmy Kimmel Live!"

The Korean act even performed their recent title songs "Ready to Love" "Rock With You" on "MTV Fresh Out Live," MTV's representative music show that presents interviews and performances from global stars.

Meanwhile, the campaign with SEVENTEEN and MTV PUSH is scheduled to begin on Friday, Dec. 10, starting at 10 a.m. ET on the MTV PUSH site and MTV PUSH YouTube channel.

Based on the behind-the-scenes photos, music fans can look forward to SEVENTEEN's latest track "Rock With You" from their million-selling album "Attacca" and more in the following month.

SEVENTEEN Releases New Japanese Song "Ainochikara"

In other news, SEVENTEEN has dropped the music video for their first Japanese single "Ainochikara (Power of Love)," which is the band's first winter song for the fans.

"Ainochikara (Power of Love)" conveys a timely message that a warm spring will soon come after the coldest and severe winters if we believe in the power of love. This song serves as the final part of the group's 2021 "Power of Love' project.

As of Dec. 7 at approximately 9:30 a.m. KST, SEVENTEEN's "Ainochikara" MV surpassed two million views.

"Ainochikara' is the boy group's second Japanese single this year following their third single "Hitorijyanai" (which means "not alone")," which earned a double-platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ) after selling more than 500,000 copies in the country.

With "Hitorijyanai," SEVENTEEN has become the first overseas male artist in history to have three consecutive Japanese singles that all sold over 200,000 copies in the first week, starting with "Happy Ending" until "Hitorijyanai."
