BTS' 'Mic Drop' Remix Reaches 1.1 Billion Views
As of 12:51 AM on December 11, BTS' "MIC Drop (Steve Aoki Remix)" music video, released on November 27, exceeded 1.1 billion views on YouTube. It's the fourth BTS MV to reach the milestone, along with "Boy With Luv (Feat. Halsey)," which has exceeded 1.4 billion views, and "DNA" and "Dynamite," which have 1.3 billion views each.
BTS' "MIC Drop (Steve Aoki Remix)" is a remix version of "MIC Drop" from "LOVE YOURSELF," released in September 2017 by Steve Aoki.
Right after its release, it immediately entered the US Billboard's main single chart "Hot 100" at the No. 28. It also stayed on the chart for 10 weeks in a row, gaining worldwide popularity.

The "MIC Drop (Steve Aoki Remix)" music video, where Steve Aoki also appeared, features the splendid performance of BTS with a sensuous effect and sophisticated visuals along with a unique and intense sound. Particularly, the scene in which member Suga drops the microphone at the end of the music video got a lot of attention.

All BTS members recently launched their individual Instagram accounts, and immediately made it to the Instagram Influencer Top 30.
In particular, V got the highest rank among the boys, securing the 16th spot. Jimin ranked 19th, Jungkook 23rd, Jin at 26th, Suga 27th, RM on the 28th, and J-Hope landed at the 29th.

The ranking was selected by HYPEAUDITO. The platform considered the amount of activities and the number of postings.

BTS completed their entertainment schedules with their attendance at the American Music Awards as well as their "Permission to Dance on Stage - L.A." concert, and the Jingle Ball Tour.
After they finished their schedule, the boys are now taking a long break. The boys are given the opportunity to finally spend the Christmas and New Year holidays with their families.
After the vacation, they are expected to return with a new album and a concert to be held in Seoul.
Meanwhile, BTS rose to the top of the idol chart Acha Ranking in the 5th week of November. On December 11, the idol chart revealed that BTS took first place with a total score of 8991 points, including 1083 music scores, 3578 YouTube scores, and 4260 social scores.
