Moreover, SEVENTEEN's "Hitorijyanai" ranked first on Oricon's daily and weekly Singles Chart and placed No. 1 on iTunes Songs Chart in at least 10 countries.
In June, SEVENTEEN The8 also participated in his group's "Power of Love" project for 2021, starting with their eighth EP "Your Choice," which sold more than one million copies worldwide in just the first week of release.
The quadruple million-seller group continued the project in September when they dropped another EP, titled "Attacca," which also sold one million copies in the first week. According to Hanteo Chart, SEVENTEEN is the only K-pop artist that recorded first-week sales of at least one million copies two consecutive times this 2021.

Notably, SEVENTEEN's "Your Choice" and "Attacca" hold the records for the second-highest and third-highest first-week sales amount in 2021 respectively, bested only by BTS' "Butter" CD with over 1.9 million copies sold.
Further, "Attacca" later sold two million copies, becoming the K-pop boy group's first double million-seller album since their debut.
SEVENTEEN concluded their "Power of Love" project with a special Japanese single, "Ainochikara (Power of Love)," which is their first-ever winter song. This single topped Oricon's daily Singles Chart on Dec. 7 with a total of 107,371 copies sold.
