#Disband_Mnet Trends Over Mnet's Alleged Mistreatment of ATEEZ, Fans Demands Respect for Group
Recently on December 16, one netizen took to a Korean online community forum to share and post about how KQ Entertainment's top boy group, ATEEZ, has been allegedly mistreated by music channel, Mnet.
The post, which was written in Korean, had recalled all the instances in which ATEEZ was allegedly mistreated or treated poorly by Mnet and their staff members.
After the post drew attention on the online community platform, it was soon translated by another netizen and shared on Twitter, which caused an uproar among international fans of ATEEZ, ATINY, who then trended the hashtag "Disband_Mnet" and "Respect ATEEZ" on the platform.
Along with the hashtag, fans have demanded that Mnet respect ATEEZ and other groups.

Instances of ATEEZ's Mistreatment by Mnet
According to the translated post, while the eight members of ATEEZ were filming for a reality show for Mnet, the staff would make the group members scared when they screamed at them.
In addition, back when ATEEZ was still participating for Mnet's competition program "Kingdom: Legendary War," the post recalls how the members themselves revealed that they were not informed about the show having a sports day, thus, the members were not dressed appropriately for the event.

The post also lists out other issues and mistreatment ATEEZ experienced at the hands of Mnet, such as being discriminated during their time on "Kingdom: Legendary War," being given waiting rooms that were poorly furnished and almost empty, that are at some times, even non-existent as they were made to wait in the corridor or in their cars, as as well as being made to have their lunch at an empty rooftop.
ATEEZ's performances were also cut, and they would usually have a lot of technical difficulties, like their microphones not working or the camerawork being bad.
As of now, "#Disband_Mnet" and "Respect ATEEZ" are still trending on Twitter, with the issue of the group's mistreatment spreading like wildfire all over the platform.
In addition, fans of other groups have also joined in to express their anger and call out Mnet for their behavior, and have even recalled how they mistreated other groups on their shows and events, with more recently being Big Hit Music's boy group TXT.
