SEVENTEEN Seungkwan Diet and Workout Routine: Here's How the 'Rock With You' Singer Keeps Fit

Seungkwan rose to fame after making his debut as the main vocalist of Pledis Entertainment's boy group, SEVENTEEN, back in 2015. Since then, Seungkwan has been known for his strong high-pitch vocals, musicality, wit, and amazing humor on variety shows.

Aside from his skills as a performer, many are also interested in what Seungkwan does to keep himself fit. With that, here is what we know about Seungkwan's diet and workout routine!

SEVENTEEN Seungkwan's Workout Routine

Although Seungkwan was already slim back when he made his debut, his round face and chubby cheeks may have given the illusion that he was otherwise. But over the years, as SEVENTEEN promoted and gained more schedules, Seungkwan gradually lost his baby fat and now has an amazing jawline.

Now, standing at around 174cm (5'8") and weighing between 56kg to 59kg, Seungkwan is exuding a more fit appearance.

When it comes to Seungkwan's workout routine, one of his main forms of exercise is through dance practices - which is what helped a lot of K-Pop idols lose weight!

If you are aware of SEVENTEEN, you would know that their songs always include a difficult choreography. And their difficult choreographies, which also focuses on synchronization and precision, would require the members of SEVENTEEN to dedicate long hours to dance practices alone.

With SEVENTEEN's dance practices being at least a minimum of an hour and a half, Seungkwan would burn more than a hundred calories per dance practice session. Not only does dancing help burn calories, but it also burns fat and tones his muscles.

Aside from dancing, Seungkwan also does pilates from time to time. According to the idol, he enlists the help of a pilates instructor to help him maintain a good physique.

Pilates is not only good to shape and tone muscles, but it's also a full-body workout. Seungkwan also attributes his 15kg weight loss journey to doing pilates.

Seungkwan also likes to do thigh workouts that will not only get rid of your puffy face, but also improve blood circulation to slim down your thighs and reduce leg pain.

Seungkwan had also mentioned in the past about being a regular user of exercise plates to aid in his weight loss.

SEVENTEEN Seungkwan's Diet Plan

When it comes to his diet plan, Seungkwan has tried a lot of different types over the years, but he notes that going on a keto diet has helped him with losing weight.

Keto diets are a low-carb diet, and relies on getting the calories needed from protein and fat, and less of carbs.

For Seungkwan, he would usually skip eating rice, and just go for meat such as beef.

More importantly, Seungkwan says not to starve yourself when you're on a diet, as not only is it not sustainable, but it can also impact your body negatively through pressure.
