"Dear BTS Namjoon, Jin & Yoongi, rest well & feel better soon! 빨리 낫길 바랄게요 (I hope you get better soon). It's so important for everyone to take precautions: Wear a well-fitting mask, keep a safe distance, avoid poorly ventilated, crowded spaces, clean hands and get vaccinated when it's your turn," the Director-General said.

On behalf of the BTS members, fans also took to Twitter to thank Dr. Tedros for his well-wishes, and also joined him to urge others to get vaccinated and remember to take precaution.

This isn't the first time the WHO Director-General tweeted about the seven-member boy group. In fact, he had previously congratulated the group and addressed them by their nicknames when they were appointed as the Special Presidential Envoy for President Moon Jae In back in July.

Back in 2020, he had also praised and thanked member Jimin for hosting a V Live were he explained the restrictions and rules under COVID-19 to make it easier to understand for children.

Meanwhile, Big Hit Music has assured fans that they are putting the members' health in top priority, and will do whatever they can to help RM, Suga, and Jin make a speedy recover. As for the other four members, they haven't been in direct contact with each other following their return from their trip to the United States.
