Two months before the release of "The Renaissance," the boy group dropped a Japanese compilation album, titled "Star," in celebration of their 15th anniversary. Consisting of two new songs, "Star" and "Coming Home," the album sold was well received in Japan. It ranked inside the top 5 of Oricon's daily (on the day of its release) and weekly albums chart and sold 21,500 copies in Japan in the first week of release.
