1. Oh My Girl Drops New Song 'Shark'
On December 23, Oh My Girl unveiled their comeback track, "Shark," simultaneously with its MV on various music sites and UNIVERSE platform.

The track depicts a story just like a musical, where Oh My Girl visits "Another Me."
In the MV, the song showcase funky sounds accompanied by the guitar, which also helped the overall bright atmosphere of the members.
2. Jeon Somi Releases MV for B-Side 'Anymore'
On December 25, Jeon Somi gifted her fans the music video for her b-sidetrack, "Anymore," released through her first full-length album, "XOXO," in October.
Somi established her own image as a soloist with her previous releases that followed a plot depicting love, breakups and moving on.
In the MV, the idol also showed off her improved presence as a solo artist, different from when she was in I.O.I.
3. SM Artists Collaborate Through 'SMTOWN 2022: SMCU Express' Album
On December 27, "SMTOWN 2022: SMCU Express," the winter album participated by SM Entertainment artists, was released. A total of 10 songs comprised the album, which includes the double title track, "Hope from Kwangya" and "Dreams Come True" by aespa.
On Jan. 1, the songs will be performed for the first time at the SMTOWN Live 2022 Concert, which will be aired for free.

On the same day, GOT The Beat (Girls on Top), SME's new project unit comprised of BoA, Taeyeon and Hyoyeon (SNSD), Wendy and Seulgi (Red Velvet), Karina and Winter (aespa) will debut with their new track, "Step Back."
4. BamBam Unveils 'Who Are You' Featuring Red Velvet Seulgi
On December 28, GOT7 BamBam dropped his pre-single, titled "Who Are You."
In particular, aside from this being the male idol's first comeback since first mini-album, "RiBBon" in June, the release gained much anticipation as Red Velvet Seulgi participated as a featuring artist.
5. BTS Jungkook x Lee Yu Bi Dating Rumor Denied by Both Parties
On December 27, the respective agencies of BTS Jungkook and actress Lee Yu Bi denied the dating rumor circulating on SNS.
According to the rumor, the two celebrities developed feelings for each other after they met in 2018. However, Lee Yu Bi's side clarified that the actress doesn't know Jungkook personally aside from Suga.
6. BTS Jin, RM and Suga Test Positive for Covid-19
Early on December 23, BTS Suga worried fans after confirmation that he tested positive for COVID-19. Although asymptomatic, the idol immediately administered self-isolation and self-care.
Unfortunately, BTS RM and Jin also announced two days after that they also contracted the virus.
Currently, Suga is reportedly in good condition, and the idol himself told fans not to worry.
7. BLACKPINK Lisa, BTS V, and More Idols Enter TC Candler's Lists of 100 Most Beautiful & Handsome Faces in 2021
On December 28, BLACKPINK Lisa made another history by being crowned as the "Most Beautiful Face" in the world by TC Candler. Along with her MOMOLAND Nancy, TWICE Tzuyu and more also entered the top 100.
On the male counterpart, BTS V topped the list among K-pop idols at third place. ASTRO Eunwoo, Stray Kids Hyunjin, etc. were also selected for the "100 Most Handsome Faces" list.
