BTS Jimin's Louis Vuitton Outfit for Vogue Korea's January 2022 Issue Gets Sold Out in Several Countries Worldwide

The Louis Vuitton items that BTS Jimin wore for the January 2022 issue of Vogue Korea were reported to have been sold out in several countries across the globe.

On Dec. 6, Vogue Korea and GQ Korea released the film teaser and magazine covers for their January 2022 issue featuring the "21st-century pop icon" BTS. The theme for both pictorials is "All for One, One for All."

The special edition of Vogue Korea features three different covers as well as 105 pages that are filled with BTS's pictorial, interviews and behind-the-scenes content. Meanwhile, the special edition of GQ Korea was made available in eight different covers, including individual member versions and a group version.

Each edition showcases an array of pieces from the spring/summer 2022 collection by the luxury French fashion house Louis Vuitton. Both editions hit store shelves on Dec. 21.

Following its official release, the leather monogram blouson jacket and chain necklace that BTS Jimin wore for his "Vogue Korea" photoshoot were completely sold out in at least 21 countries around the world including the United States, Canada, Italy, New Zealand, Brazil, Australia, Saudi Arabia and more.

The Louis Vuitton leather monogram blouson jacket costs 9.74 million won (approximately 8212 US dollars) while the chain necklace costs 1.41 million won (1,190 US dollars).

In addition, the pair of sneakers, which costs 1.61 million won (1,360 US dollars) was sold out in all sizes in four countries such as the US, Canada, China and Japan.

On top of that, all three aforementioned Louis Vuitton items were sold out on the official website of the French fashion house in a total of 46 countries as of writing.

Once again, BTS Jimin has proven his brand power as he causes the high-end products to sell out.

In related news, Sumkyong Lee, who interviewed BTS Jimin for Vogue Korea, shared the idol's photo on Instagram and shared her experience of talking to the singer.

Lee said that Jimin's impressive visuals made her have a difficult time keeping herself composed as she was star-struck. She added that anyone who would see Jimin up close would eventually fall in love with him.

The Vogue Korea interviewer went on to praise BTS Jimin's mannerism during the interview, such as his simplicity, politeness, and humility, describing him as someone who's "so amazing."

Sumkyong also expressed in her Instagram post her happiness over the fact that the interview was well received by fans, as seen from ARMYs reactions on different social media and community platforms.

During the interview, Lee Sumkyong mentioned BTS lacking opportunities to enjoy their success in public and that there are many things they can't share with others. Jimin said that he thinks it might be because he is still young but he finds it hard to open up to friends other than his fellow BTS members.

Jimin added that he often feels pretentious most of the time, and he doesn't like it. He concluded, "It's nice to be able to be completely honest when talking to other [BTS] members."
