Red Velvet Wendy Reads Out Letter She Penned for Fans
After Red Velvet member Wendy finished her radio show, "SBS POWER FM Young Street," on January 3, the idol took time to stop by one area in the parking lot of the SBS building to say goodbye to fans. The "Queendom" songstress opened the window of her vans and waved to fans.
The idol then suddenly took something out of her pocket. To people's surprise, she wrote a handwritten letter to fans while in the radio booth before she came down to the parking area!

The Red Velvet member read the letter out loud to fans. She tells ReveLuvs, "Happy New Year! Thank you for always being here when I finish my radio show, even when it is extremely cold or freezing."
She continues to express her gratitude, saying, "Thank you for creating such great memories for me all the time. Please, make sure you always keep yourselves warm. You should keep your hand, feet, and neck warm, alright?"

Wendy begs fans not to get sick, telling them, "Please do not catch a cold and stay healthy at all times!"
Wendy ends her letter with well-wishes for the new year and lots of love for those supporting her, saying, "I hope this year will be filled with happiness and that lots of good things will come your way. Thank you, and I love you!"

After listening to her message, lucky fans who witnessed her reading it aloud are heard thanking Wendy. The idol then showed the letter to fans, waved goodbye, then left the parking area with a big smile on her face.

Red Velvet Recent Activities
Red Velvet performed at SM Entertainment's yearly SMTOWN LIVE concert on January 1. This year, the concert was titled "SMTOWN 2022: SMCU EXPRESS @KWANGYA."
On December 10, 2021, SM Entertainment announced that Red Velvet would be releasing their first Japanese studio album, "Bloom," on February 2, 2022.
