BTS Suga and Jungkook Teams Up For The OST of '7FATES: CHAKHO'
On January 5, the official Twitter account of the webtoon "7FATES: CHAKHO" announced that the official soundtrack of the series will be provided by BTS Suga and Jungkook.
So far, it is known that Jungkook will do the singing, and Suga will be the producer of the OST.
Because of this, ARMYs all over the world were shocked by the news. At the time, worldwide trends on Twitter have "#SUGA" at #1 with more than 300,000 tweets while "VOCALS BY JUNGKOOK" is at #10 with more than 20,000 tweets.
BTS Shows A Strong Performance on the US Billboard Chart
According to the latest chart released by Billboard, an American music media outlet, on January 5, "My Universe," by BTS and Coldplay, ranked 72nd on the single chart "Hot 100."
The song climbed 12 places from the previous week and charted for 14 consecutive weeks.
"My Universe" stood out on various Billboard charts. It entered "Adult Pop Airplay" and "Canadian Hot AC" at 10th, "Pop Airplay" at 32nd, "Canadian Digital Song Sales" at 32nd, "Canada CHR/TOP" on the 34th, and "Canadian Hot 100" at 56th were recorded respectively.
Moreover, the global summer song "Butter," which was released in May 2021, re-entered at #31 on the "Digital Songs Sales" chart. It then ranked 7th on the weekly chart of the "Hot Trending Songs' chart. It is a chart that ranks the most mentioned songs on Twitter in the last 24 hours or seven days of the time frame.

BTS ranked four songs on the "Billboard Global 200" and "Billboard Global (excluding the US)" charts, which announce the rankings by counting the streaming and sales in more than 200 countries or regions all over the world.
On the "Billboard Global 200" chart, "Butter" ranked 41st, "My Universe" at 43rd, "Dynamite" on 70th, "Permission to Dance" at 136th. Meanwhile, on the "Billboard Global (excluding the US)" chart, "Butter" was ranked 29th, "My Universe" on the 34th, "Dynamite" ranked 45th, and "Permission to Dance" was ranked 75th.
Aside from that, "Christmas Tree," the OST of the Korean drama "Our Beloved Summer," sung by BTS V, ranked 79th on the Billboard "Hot 100" chart, 1st place in "Digital Song Sales," and 1st place in the "Top Selling Songs." It also ranked 2nd on the "Canadian Digital Song Sales" and 4th on the "Hot Trending Songs" weekly chart.
It is an amazing feat to see that the septet still makes it to worldwide charts even though they are currently on a long vacation and not doing any promotional activities. The boys are set to come back from their long break with fresh ideas and recharged. Moreover, the ARMYs are waiting for the boys to perform live once again and are full of energy.
